You see, a few weeks ago, after posting a video on my personal FB page, a friend recommended I check out Toastmasters, to learn more. I did, and went to my first meeting yesterday evening, as a guest, at the Toastmasters club in Leuven, Belgium.

It was very interesting! I loved it! I used what I had learned in my public speaking training so far and volunteered to participate in the improvisation part, called "table topics" (the only one I was allowed to enter as a guest/non-member).
10 seconds to choose 1 or 2 pictures and 30 seconds to prepare a 2-minute speech... 😅 Everything before about 30 people and recorded on camera... 😅
My heart was beating fast and I was shaking! But I did it! 🤗🎤
Everyone present could vote for the best speaker in each category. I was honored to be voted best speaker of the improvisation/"Table Topics" category!! Yay!
That really encourages me to continue on my path. 😁✨
