Feeling like.

.....my plan is coming together.

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago in a blog post - https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co... - about my goals for 2018. I thought I would update you all on how they are going. I have been very busy behind the scenes trying to get my blog filled with great content and tidying up bits that have got messy.

Early last week I felt like everything was all higgledy piggledy and I had bits of paper and notes every and no system in place for keeping on top of ideas and things. So I went looking for a way to plan my blog. I found a great site that had a ready made Blog Planner that I could download and complete.

Over the past several days I have gone through and started completing it. I have it set up in a folder so I can easily flip through to find what I am looking for. The end result is I have already start to hit my 2018 goals.

1. I will develop a blog calendar so I always know what content I need to write. I will do this by in-depth research into keywords - I now have a typed up list of keywords I searched - printed and in the folder. I have typed up the numerous pieces of paper that had scrawled ideas on them and collated them into one document - printed and in the folder. I have started a blog calendar and have the rest of January planned out with a day next week set aside to plan February - in the folder. This in part leads to:
2. I will write a minimum of 2 review posts and 8 keyword posts every month. I will be three weeks ahead on content so that I always have content to post - So the first two weeks of January I didn't meet this because I was flying by the seat of my pants, however, now I have my blog calendar organised I know what is going to be posted this week until the end of the month. As I had four posts in reserve I was quickly able to post one yesterday. I also added a number of pages to my blog so whilst I didn't do post there was new content added.

The goals that are still a work in progress, are working on social media - Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest. Also monitoring my Google Analytics and Affiliate Statistics pages - this will involve me doing some reading to fully understand what I am seeing. I don't fully "get" it yet but now that I have a system, and I feel like I am in control, I will have the time to read and learn. I'm also eagerly looking forward to starting the GoGetters Project at the end of the month.

I have this. This is my year!!
