I'm trying to sign up with Etsy's affiliate program, but I'm stuck at the process of getting the links set up. It tells me to insert this tag in the head section of the index fi
The easier one is probably going to be the 2nd option. You need to install a FTP client such as filezilla and ftp into your domain. You will then need to upload the html verification file into the httpdocs folder.
Here's some training on FTP Edit Website Files Via FTP FTP & FileZilla - Connecting to domain via FTP This one's probably the closest to what you would need to do: How to Verify Your Website With Google, Yahoo & Bing Using FTP
Woo! I've got it working:D The 3rd link you listed showed me the exact steps i needed. I never would have thought that 2nd option would be the easier one haha...you really saved me a headache! Thanks so much for the help Thomas!

My WP editor has been acting very weird, first I couldn't get into the 'visual' editor(where it would show up completely blank), and could only code. I left it alone for a few h
Also 1 more thing that seems to be the key to make the 'visual' editor work: you have to click on 'edit' right below the page title or the visual editor will not show up sometimes. If anyone is having this same trouble first hover your mouse over the page title and click 'edit', and it goes to your visual editor. Worked for me!
So it looks like I got it working again! Woo-hoo!! I switched to Google chrome which got things running smoother, and then noticed there was a theme plug-in issue so I refreshed some of the plug-ins. Everything seems to be working perfectly again. Thanks for all the suggestions guys!
I had similar issues earlier, not once. Try with cleaning the system, use for example this or something else:

Hello Megan. I also checked out your site and all the pictures loaded just fine. I love the dark and mysterious subject matter of your site. It's mystical and takes you away from every day reality. I love your pictures as well. Also the way you can click a door and it takes you to another mystical area. I just love it! Hi Megan :) Just took a lot at your website and everything shows up quite nicely. Opened few sections of the page, blog, shop didn't see any question marks. All the images loaded up.
To see how fast your site loads you can uses tools like http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/ and https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/ Its shows a list of files and times in which it loads. if some images took longer time you will know which ones to modify.
Thank you Andrew I really appreciate your help! That is a such big relief to hear. So that might mean it's a problem with my own computer or interest server then, I will look into it.
Oh and I tried out pingdom and its awesome! Thank you for sharing this, I'll be using it a lot haha. Thanks Andrew!

Hi Megan, I think the issue is sometimes with the Editor rather than the real live website. I have had the same issue when working on updates. I now normally open a separate tab and enter my url directly and check it out for real. Mostly everything shows up just fine.
I think you are right, since the WP editor has been giving me trouble lately, I'm still looking into the cause of the problem, but I'm glad at least the live site is working fine. Thanks for the advice:)
