I've realized I've been an entrepreneur at heart since I've done the Corporate America thing in working hard, promoting, then working harder only to have my time and life slip away for others' success without having anything built for myself or my family that would sustain us. Working in higher education is another area that I feel I have been able to serve and create a positive impact; however, there's too much politics, and the pay will not provide the lifestyle.
Working for myself is completely tougher, especially when working several gigs simultaneously and takes even more focus and discipline, because of having to coordinate and kick myself to do this having undiagnosed ADD, eventually I know the residual income that will sustain a dream lifestyle will happen as I continue to choose to work in learning how to make the internet work for us. I have learned it also takes a combination of team effort and willingness to help others to succeed.
This current dream lifestyle perspective has changed to: Simply, to have choices--independent of money and health being the influence. We would like to go to Lego Land and Disney before the kids grow up; they're growing up way too fast! My husband would like to work on his businesses more, having a God-given gift as a self-taught artist and a school-trained massage therapist. Our son enjoys being "The Artist" and has an engineering mind. Our daughter has her unique ways of influencing with her "Boss Baby" ways. Our parents are getting older, and we want to build a casita, so everyone can have their own space. We've been living vicariously through friends who have been building theirs.
As I am working to learn how to carve this path to success, I hope I can be one of the ones who can help lead and encourage others to success as well. I struggle with posting, so the way to get better is to practice it more.
Mdj's Goals 3
$10K/month would be a good starting dream.
$50K/month would make me ecstatic.
I can carve out time between taking care of baby to make this work.
