If I make a sale this week, I'll be really happy.

I finally did it! After much internet digging and many content-filled posts, I have put my first review on my website. My goal is to make 2 sales in the next 2 weeks. This would make my first month with Wealthy Affiliate pay for itself. If it's not at least doing that, I don't really want to stay with it.

Desserts and sweets are the weak spot in my armor!

Miranda, your review is phenomenal! If you do not make any $$, I will be a monkeys aunt! Lol! Your site is wonderful. I left a comment there about your review, which was terrific by the way.-Blessings and success. Anne

Kyle said it all - awesome response Kyle!!!!

I think you have done a pretty good job with your review. One thing I would recommend is to...

Use clear and concise headlines within your content. You can do this by using h3 tags that break up your content. It will make your content much more readable.

Here is an example of what I mean:

http://waystoavoidscamsonline.com/how-to-sell-your-art-online-paint-yourself-successful

As you scroll down, you will see headlines that break apart my content and foreshadow to my audience what I am going to talk about.

Ex. Art, to be honest, is an EASY sell within the online world?

This is highly effective and will lead to much more readership of your content.

As for "needing" two sales to continue, that would be way further ahead when I was when I started out. If I had that mentality going into business I know I would not be where I am at today (I have been full time online for the last 12 years).

The reason?

It took me 3 months to make my first sale. This is a business and it requires a foundation building phase, which in itself is a success. If you only define earning $$ as success, you are going to have a long journey in business because there are many other smaller and non-financial successes that are required before you ever earn a dollar, online or offline and you are currently accomplishing many of those. :)

I think you misunderstood. I love running my website! I feel like I've accomplished a lot. I just do not have hosting from WA in the budget, so it really does need to sustain itself. Otherwise, I'm going to need to move hosting to somewhere cheaper. If it makes money later I might move back, but I can't pay $120 with no return.
