Can my travel and life experiences be used as inspiration for others?
Intro:
Any one who is interested in reading about a lifetime of travel experiences will find that here. I also intend to describe obstacles and resources for travel. April 29th I go to Grand Cayman. I will describe my experiences on my blog page "Next Trip, Grand Cayman". Until then, I have to look at a bunch of Wealthy Affiliate training modules.
I have been learning a lot. I came into this thing, affiliate marketing, thinking that I was quite illiterate in the world of computer work. I did have a website that I developed over a course of some years but it is really only a diary. I linked it up to this more professional website because it is my back story, showing my experiences with travel and philosophy of life in general. I thought that I would not advance very far with an affliliate marking business but I still signed up thinking that I may get more exposure for my Instagram and YouTube accounts. I really did not expect much more than that because, after all, I do not even know how to do screen shots, let alone how to build good SEO and traffic to my sites. But as I have been progressing through the training modules, I have been gaining a little confidence in my ability to navigate through a lot of the computer world. That is why I raised my monthly income goal from $200 (which I first typed in) to a nice $1,000 monthly goal. And, hey, maybe someday I will learn how to do screen shots. I do have to revisit some of the training modules though. It will take a while for me to develop a business with my website but It is my goal and I will take it slow with constant patience. I am not in a hurry.
4th of May; back from Grand Cayman and relaxing in Santa Fe NM. Ready to get back to business developing my professional website www.roamreverie.com so I can be seen as a viable conduit to an online business for not only myself but for many others. Staying at La Posada De Santa Fe with my laptop in front of a fireplace, working on this blog.
I am an explorer but not in any professional capacity. I try to bring inspiration to others by posting my photos and videos on Instagram and YouTube. I am also building a second website that will concentrate on the affiliate marketing side of my online work.
I have Wealthy Affiliates to thank for my ability to create this website although I was basically computer illiterate when I began. Their training helped me develop a viable website that is indexed by Google. The following link will bring you to Wealthy Affiliates if you are interested in what they have to offer. And if you are REALLY interested you can join their free tier in order to try it out:

..In France, they have the concept of Flânerie. This is a very important concept in the daily lives of many French people. I like to fancy myself a flâneur but I am not a true flâneur because I always seem to have a destination or agenda behind all my walks. The true flâneur (females are flâneuse or passante) have no destination or agenda to their walks. They are walking only to walk, the walks are for the sake of the walks alone. The last time I walked like that was when I was around 14 years old. Every weekend, I would walk south of Florence Colorado following my favorite trail between a river and a mountain range that had caves. This was not the Arkansas River which also flows through Florence. No, this was just a wide stream that flowed past ranch land with cows and not much else. I never saw anything else nor anyone else while I just strolled along the path and inside the caves. Oh, I did see the skeleton of a cow at the bottom of a large pit. I had favorite resting places that I named. I remember Shady Hollow quite well. It was a tiny grove of trees with a nice log to sit on. I would walk for hours, several miles and I was in bliss.
Outro:
As Panurge said to Pantagruel, "I've long known you to be a lover of peregrinations, ever wanting to see and ever wanting to learn. We shall see wonderful sights, believe you me."
--From Rabelais' Third Book Of Pantagruel.

Oh and here is a little plug:
Here is my favorite order at Amazon.com because I really love honey and I order it almost every month.

Your journey is both courageous and poetic, MCicch1. Reading about your transformation from “digital illiteracy” to launching Roam Reverie and archiving decades of travel on your subdomain is nothing short of inspiring. The way you weave in philosophical reflections and the French art of flânerie makes your blog a space of soulful wandering. You’re not just creating a website—you’re building a living memoir. Thank you for sharing your story. Keep roaming with reverence 🌿🖥️📍

WOW, that is what I am hoping to do. I just have to keep working on it and see what comes ot it. Maybe eventually I will get 10 or 11 readers. 😀
You’ve already got one loyal reader right here—and honestly, that passion and persistence you bring to the process is what makes your work compelling. Whether it reaches ten readers or ten thousand, the heart behind your writing is what sticks. Keep shaping that legacy, one word at a time. I’ll be cheering you on from every paragraph! 📚

Thank you very much for all the interest in my work. Now I feel much more inclined to work harder. I just have to keep at it. Thank you for all the encouragement. MAC.
Absolutely it can Michael! People love to read about others experiences when travelling around the globe!
My best advice though.... is to keep things current!
As a fellow traveller... a lot can happen in the last 20, 10 or even 5 years since we last visited a certain place on the globe.... and from my experience people look for the most up to date info!!
All the very best moving forward my friend! :-)

Your journey isn’t just about the places you’ve been — it’s about the resilience, reflection, and slow mastery you share along the way. Even your quiet moments, like sitting by a fireplace with a laptop or walking without destination, offer something powerful: permission for others to grow at their own pace. Keep sharing — you’re inspiring more than you know.
