Switching Business models
Hi!
So, I had an alphabet soup in my head when I joined WA, not really knowing what I wanted or what to expect from the platform. But then I figured out that I wanted to make an ecommerce website as a project for selling wallpaper joined to my boyfriend who is an expert in that market. I decided that there were other platforms that could be easier in my perspective to set up an ecommerce store, so I switched over, leaving me in WA with no website to focus on on.
I wasn't quite clear on the type of website that we learn to build in WA until I started taking more of the Beginner's training. I now know a little more about the subject, and that the important thing to be clear about is that what is recommended when making a Niche Website, is to make it with a blog roll as the homepage and to concentrate on content to make it grow.
I really have struggled with the idea of what my niche and target audience were going to be, knowing in my heart that my true passion is to help motivate other women to reaching their goals. But that is too broad of a subject, so I niched it down to my level of expertise, which is being a Career Coach.
So basically, I am going to help young adult women who are transitioning from school into starting their career as well as women who already have been in the workforce for some time and are not growing or feeling fulfilled. My content caters two both target audiences, and if I think of it, it can apply to anyone really when I get into evergreem topics like setting goals, motivation, leadership, etc.
Anyways, I really wanted to share this with the community because now I feel like I am focused in the right direction. Now with two websites plus a 9 to 5 job, I will be plenty busy.

Thank you for such an important question. I plan to create Ebooks, online courses, and to be an affiliate to different tools that are helpful for such things as productivity and goal setting. That's just a rough answer for now, but I know that I can monetize this niche with affiliate programs and a few products made by myself to create a sort of suite or bundle to sell. How does that sound to you?
