Advice I've Been Given And Been Thankful For
I've been doing this for a month now and can't believe how far I've come in such a short space of time. I mean I've got my own website and I'm posting my own content on it several times a week. I mean it's crazy and it's all thanks to WA for the training.
As I said I'm only a month in so I'm far from an expert but a here are a few of best pieces of advice I've had since starting.
Don't go speed writing and publishing post after post filling your site up with anything just to get some content on. I made this mistake and as I got a better understanding of what made a good site I went back and had to go back over everything again because I just wasn't happy with it.
I always write better content if I imagine I am standing in front of someone speaking to them. What would I say? Is easier than, what should I write?
Also be consistent with posting good content, quality content getting posted on a site regularly is a must rank for Google.
Last but not least don't expect too much too soon. I already notice a lot of people not giving themselves a chance to get started and already expecting a full time income. That would be great but unfortunately it doesn't happen or no one would work. Everyone would be doing this.
People quit because they either expect instant results and don't get them or can't be bothered putting in the time.
Don't expect instant results and keep pluggin away because in a years time you will look back and be grateful to yourself for keeping going and well if you can't be bothered putting in the time then this simply isn't for you.
Thanks again to everyone here for their help and to WA for everything I've learned so far and am still learning. All the best everyone.

I always say to imagine you are having a chat with a friend, over coffee, and to use the same kind of language :)
Works wonders for me. Great little technique to keep the words flowing
