We must give back

In the bible, there is a scripture that states that "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." (New International Version (NIV)).

This is not a religious discourse, but I think that verse speaks volume to us and our path to success. We have stumbled upon this wealth of information that will aid us in our own personal goals. We now have the resources to make a difference in our financial lives. You would think that all we need to do is absorb this information and be done with it. But life isn't that simple.

There are many different legs of success depending on what is your own personal definition of the word. For this writer, true success is not what we can do for ourselves, but how our success empowers other people. I have been given tools and resources to bring my life to a different level. But true knowledge is no good unless it is shared. If we help others become successful with us, then the world is changed just a little bit each time. There is a saying that I grew up with that I learned when I was a child: To each one, teach one. We owe it to ourselves, and others to give back. How can I give back what was freely given to me? Here are some things we can do:

• Encouraging new members to become a part of the community
• Commenting and providing feedback to others website
• Blogging your success to encourage others
• Answer questions and help guide members along the way
• Create lessons and share any new things or ideas with other members
• Make it a goal to meet at least one new person a day

WA community is the best. Lets continue to make it even better by sharing our knowledge and helping others. Participate and interact as much as you can. If you can pull that one person up, then that will be a measure of success for you also. We owe it.
