Coming up on my one month anniversary here at WA and this is my story. Started out super excited and ready to learn and blasted through the first couple lessons working on a web site that I had started before joining WA. I have a site previously built with Frontpage that was up and running so I decided to start my training on a sub domain of that site thinking I could save ten bucks. Fumbling through the lessons and building my site I get to the Adsense part of it and what do ya know, they don’t allow Adsense on sub domains. So I say to myself, well that was a good learning experience, time to start over, lol. I am currently on course 4, I have purchased my own domain and started a new site with a different niche and then skipped the track a little bit. I just published my first ebook for sale at Amazon and here on my website. Now it’s back to the web site building phase. Have I accumulated any money yet? HECK NO! lol but what I have accumulated here is knowledge and I appreciate all the help and input from the community here at WA. Thank You! Onward and Upward! Thanks for reading my blog! I decided to check out yours! I noticed your website home page lands on your About Page, you can change that to show your blog roll. Also I didn't like signing in to a social network to leave a comment, especially with the infolinks on your site. I've been able to avoid spam by only allowing comments on my blog pages. Your niche is great and I think you can do well with it!
Thanks for the view and input Lorinda. I didn’t notice that the comments had changed. Must have done that when I added the social media links. There is a link above the Add commenting box that you can click to switch to Word Press commenting. Not sure if I want to land on the Blog roll. Maybe what I will do is make another page that welcomes you to the website, I want to keep it as more of an educational/information site where you can click around and navigate to what you want to learn. If it lands on the latest blog someone might not be looking for that particular bit of information and leave right away. I don’t know, totally new at this! LoL I will have to give it a run and see how it looks.
