I am trying to get another domain that shows available on namemesh.com but it isn't available on WA. I can purchase it from godaddy but I would rather stick with WA if I can.

Some great answers there.

I had the exact same issue today so I've asked Support. They said they're looking into it. I think it affects the .com ones, because the only domains it will let me purchase today are not .com.

that is exactly what I found too. I would rather just get it from WA and work on it here. I am comfortable with this site already and would like to keep all my websites together.

I think you are right, it is a .com domain issue it would appear. I hope it can be resolved.

You should try it again now. I've successfully bought my .com domain now. Support hasn't gotten back to me but they must have done something because it's good to go now!

Goodluck!

I have also checked my trade account and it wasn't available to purchase.

However, you are right godaddy so namemesh via bluehost says available. See if you can checkout and get it.

thank you again for your help! I thought about doing that but wanted to see if I was able to just get it on WA first. The support team is working on it now, I just got a reply back from them. If they are unable to get it working for me I am going to purchase it from godaddy and transfer it.

My concern was the price on it and how would I continue purchasing each year after that. Would it be through Godaddy or through WA?

You can transfer it to WA, after registration. You would need your EPP authorization code. It takes approximately 7 days more or less.

Or

You can keep it with godaddy and pay the yearly fees there however point your DNS to WA.

To update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.

ns1 . mywahosting . com
ns2 . mywahosting . com

These settings will be updated within your domain registrar (where you purchased your domain) after the transfer has taken place.

Hi Matthew, I have seen this a few times at WA where there is a premium price on a domain name, in this instance WA is having problems retrieving the domain name, try getting hold of site support.

It is available over at Namecheap, purchase, and then point it to the hosting here in WA and then transfer the domain to WA.

Domain mentioned above is taken via who.is

I thought that's what I was doing.. I am sorry, apparently I did that wrong.
