Make sure to check your spam filter and if not the website will usually have a provision to resend the confirmation email. If all else fails, submit s Support ticket.

I think host gator will give you a username and password when you let them know that you want to stop uSing their service.
You can use the same details to transfer to WA. WA would also have to provide you dns address.

Last time i did a domain transfer was .. a long long time back. These are the bits and pieces that i remember.
