Still a Good Idea
What started out as a good idea, turned out to still be a good idea, however has escalated exponentially.
Wealthy Affiliate is such a fantastic community to be a part of, it really is only limited by your own drive, determination and imagination. It has so much to offer by way of training, content, guidance, training, guidance, tutorials, blogs, training, content, guidance, tutorials........... You get the picture.
In one of my prior blogs, I wrote about going down the 'rabbit hole' when surfing the net and how one search can lead to another, can lead to another, can lead to another, can lead to another, can lead to another, can lead to another and then before you know it the day is over.
Wealthy Affiliate has the same impact, although in far more beneficial way. My only wish is that I had stumbled upon Wealthy Affiliate many moons ago when I had more time at my disposal. It is true what they say, the older you get the more you realize how much time you have wasted on things which don't matter at all.
Time is precious!
The list of must do tasks has grown as I look to entrench myself within completing the training, being active with the community and building my site to ensure it can reach its full potential. I am getting a real kick though out of seeing the training put into action and seeing how this all functions in real time. There is a LOT to learn and you can easily branch off into other training and tutorials, with even MORE to learn. I like the idea of staying in track, but there is plenty more to see. It's like playing an open world video game, where you have your primary objective to complete, but as you go along you can't help but jump into those side missions.
It has been an eye-opening ride so far and I look forward to completing the training and growing my site further.

Sounds like you are making good progress Matt, keep at it, we have everything we need to start creating that online business right here inside of WA.
As for those side projects, they are good as long as they aid the flow of the main project.

The knowledge base here inside WA is really deep and filled with opportunity. Just stick with and you will be surprised how quickly you are helping others it is the flow of WA.
All true, at least every tangent you go off on here at WA has value. Staying focused is always hard when there is so much that is of interest. I have found that on many occasions, taking a detour here has given me the inspiration to follow something new in my own arena...Always learning.
