No Time: No Excuse, Here's How to Make It Work

I'm just a regular family man and I've always thought about ways to make a little side money. The catch is that I've got a young family, my wife and I have a 2 year old daughter and a son on the way....as you can tell, time is not something that I have an abundance of right now!

What I've learned here at WA has been nothing short of great, but lets be honest for a minute, I have a full time job and when I'm not at work I am a full time dad (it's what I do best actually!)....how can I possibly have time for this? There never seems to be enough hours in a day.

This may sound a bit cliche, but you can do anything that you put your mind to. I have found a formula, no not baby formula, that works for me and I believe that it can work for many others who think that they can't be successful at this because they have no time.

Key To Success

The key is to break things down into subtasks and capitalize on those secret pockets of time....we've all got them, you just may not realize that they exist!

I can hear you now, "Secret pockets of time, what's he talking about?" Take a minute and think about your daily routine.....

Ok, good...now lets think about any time in your day where you might have a chance to do anything related to affiliate marketing. Here are a couple of examples based on my weekday daily routine:

• I usually eat breakfast alone since everyone in my house is still sleeping. It's during that quiet 15-20 minute session that I recap the previous day's activity. How was my traffic? How many clicks did I get on my links? Any sales?

• Next I get in my car and drive to work. Now that I've had my coffee, I can use this time to brainstorm about my website. What keywords or topics come to mind? Speak out loud some content ideas (I find I remember it better if I speak it). Maybe think about some site layout things that are bugging you.

• Another thing you can do in the car is play the video lessons while in the car, either play the audio right from your device or stream it through the bluetooth of your car. IMPORTANT: DO NOT WATCH WHILE DRIVING, LISTEN ONLY!

• While at work, make sure that you work! However, we all take breaks....so if something came to your mind, grab your smartphone (or a pad) and jot it down for later use.

• During my lunch hour, I eat at my desk and use the extra time to come up with a potential title and major headings for your blog post.

• I use my commute home to do more brainstorming about the keywords and blog headings I came up with earlier.

• When I get home, I turn it all off....it's family time! Do not let yourself get caught up with work or your website, enjoy the time with your little ones because it is the best part of the day and they grow up so fast.

• After the kids are in bed, I spend some time one weekday (and one weekend) writing the contents of the blog post and then I publish it.

Conclusion

You see, it is absolutely possible to be successful at creating a website with great content while maintaining your busy life.

As I've said earlier, I have a young family and a full time job, which leaves me very little time. I have been able to find out a system that works for me and I hope that this helps you to be successful too.
