small things in life .
I would like to start off by saying thanks to each and everyone of you for taking the time and read my very first Blog, inspired by some other WA members work.
I call this one Small things in life ...
I stopped for a while today and started to look at what i have in my life and appreciate the small things i have in life despite insecurity in my town and criminality and the second thing besides my wife is my Dog George as i named him, he is an German Shepherd sent from heaven my Heroe ! ! !
Might not seem a lot but to me it is, I have been taking care of him for 2 years now and he is an street dog beaten and badly nurished when i learned to know him afraid and running away, caring for him in rain, sun, early mornings late night, when my Mother in law does not want him there, i was once sneaking him up into our room to sleep and get him some warmth.
He have never had any injury nor sickness, some times he steps on pieces of glass but never complains just walks funny or wiggling and i have learned to know when something is wrong and remove the glass from his paws when i see that he start to walk different.
Ii am doing okay i think since he is in good condition and trying to buy the best dog food i can and avoid troublesome veterinarian visits later on but it will come sooner or later.
I am also scared that one day i maybe will not see the signs that he might need help or have something more serious but as of today i am backed up with experience from the previous dog i had some 15 years back and know what to do and i am great full for that .
nowadays the only problem i have is that he does not always want to eat maybe a bit spoiled and i does not always want to eat and i try no to spoil him and keep him to Dry dog food but every now and then an can of dog food by Pure balance is my choice and supposedly Premium dog food by Walmart.
Like today i was so glad to see him eat since it is not everyday he eat when i can be with hims since i have to run, run back home, run to help in the kitchen, run and help my Brother in law with things, sometimes on my computer to see whats on WA and try to make an better life and improve my situation at work that is not really healthy for anyone in my situation and dreaming of the day to be able to quit my work and continue with what i love to do.

I really appreciated his company/walk today since he behaves good and walk by my side all the way to the park with NO leash and let him free to sniff and do his needs and meet other dogs sometimes.
I have added an backpack to Georges in order to add some weight on him to keep him working a bit harder since the German Shepherd is an working dog and love to feel useful and carrying stuff is an good things to make him happy and more satisfied on the walks that is important for their well being according to articles on internet.
Like to end up by saying, Everyone should be glad for what they have today and think how would the day be if it was different.
My dog was sick ???, how would my day be if he does not eat ?, how would the day be if he do not want to walk ??? i Would feel quite Miserable and worried to death not fulfilling my part as pack leader.
This applies to everything in life, your children, your spouse, your mum, your new found friend, Soul mate(Well this does not exist but and person to share the life with ), your paycheck this week, you party invitation, your health Enjoy Every moment as i am trying to do ...
NEVER take things for granted ENJOY EVERY MOMENT AS I AM HERE AT WA, it can all change in an Heart beat ...

You have seen my profile picture so you know I can relate to this blog. A couple of months ago my little red headed guy was so sick, (pancreitis), and it happened so fast. One day he was OK, or so it seemed, and the next he was up-chucking everything, I was so scarred I was loosing him. Ended up taking him to the vet the next day $$$$. He stayed overnight and then came home but it took almost three weeks for him to return to his normal self. I am emotional thinking about this now, but they are our kids, they become family, they love us unconditionally.
So, yes, we SHOULD count our blessings each and every day, because, the truth is, we don't deserve any of it and yet we have been blessed and put in charge of what we do have.

and at the same time remind everybody that we need to slow down and reflect life and not run thru life as many people do ...
Yes they are our kids or family even if they origin is Wolf way back in time but still keep us company and never get angry in any way.
We have had many dogs. We used to live in the country and adopted dogs that people couldn't keep. Most were healthy but one of our
favorite was an airedale that had cancer. We had her for 2 years and she was great with the kids. She finally quit eating and we had to put her down.

Our Shitzu is throwing up and there is blood in it so my wife took her to the vet and they are doing blood work. We hope it isn't serious.

tell the story. She had some bloodwork and got a shot....
