Who Do You Want To Become?

Everyone who wants to succeed should ask themselves this question. Because it is an important question. And in order to answer it, the person asking must have a vision for what they want.

We've all heard of, "what is your why?' But to me, focusing on your vision is more personal and more internal--not being selfish, but, it is your vision. Who do you want to become?

A person why may be stated this way, I want to travel more with my children. That is a noble thing. But think more of a vision mindset, and one may state, "I want to set an example for my children' or, "I want to impact my children lives building a legacy for them."

As for me, I cannot say that I operated with a vision, and if the vision was there, there were patches of fog that caused me to wander off course.

Of course, as the fog cleared, something occurred that opened my eyes and I began to realize my current situation--unhappy of the stagnation; thus, I saw my self in a better situation. Something that could strive towards, regardless of my past, it is possible to create a different life.

So, who do I want to become? I want to be that person that overcame a host of negativity against himself, overcame the disappointments and the feeling for himself.

I want to be that person that when people see me, they say, "I remember him back in the day, but, look at him now.

I want to be a person of authority in my business and the ability to impact countless lives. I want to become the person I know that resides in me.

None of these things will occur however if I do not have a vision. Because without vision, I will not pursue, I will not be consistent and without consistency, I will push and push and push.
