Success - What is it?
Success means different things to different people. To some its about money. To others its about recognition. Sometimes its personal success. Success is how you approach challenges. Are you looking to make a change in your life? Are you unhappy with your job? With your finances?
The definition of Success
- means the accomplishment of an aim or purpose
- the attainment of popularity or profit
- a person or thing that achieves desired aims or attains prosperity
The accomplishment of an aim or purpose is what we will be talking about today. If you want to make a change ask yourself:
- what it is you want to accomplish?
- why you want it? (What would a great day look like?)
- how do you plan on getting there?
- when do you want to complete this goal?
- What will happen if you don't accomplish this goal?
There is power in writing out your goals. Put your goals in a place that you can see them on a daily basis. Review them often.
Characteristics of great leaders and their secrets to success can be attributed to these simple five guidelines:
- Listen to others Intently
- Ask Questions from a Humble Heart
- Observe with an Open Mind
- Help Others or Pass it Forward
- Make Connections

Success for me would be to have a profitable niche so I can work from home most days. One or two days, no more than three I wouldn't mind spending a few hours in an external environment training or consulting.

There IS power in writing your goals out and I'm a big believer in vision boards. ~Debbi
When you say vision boards do you mean pics of things you want to achieve. Like a new car, vacation, etc.?
Yes, I have a cork bulletin board post these things on.
I like that idea.
