A stressful and hectic lifestyle, which is common nowadays, leads you to spend half of your day in a car or transport to work, and the rest of the day at work, sitting. When the work day is over, hurry home and look for the most efficient way to get there. And when you find yourself in the comfort of your home, tucked away, it never occurs to you to go out and take a walk.

Walking is a free and easy form of recreation, suitable for all age groups. The way you can best clear your mind, relax after a hard day, and lose extra pounds. Just thirty minutes of walking a day can lead to significant results when it comes to health and fitness.

The more you walk, the more you will feel like a winner.

  • Regular walking will improve your fitness, and with proper nutrition it will also lead to weight loss, because walking speeds up your metabolism.
  • Walking will allow you to shape your muscles, bring your body into top shape, as well as maintain it.
  • Blood circulation in your body will improve, and thus your general health, which reduces the likelihood of cardiovascular disease.
  • The best ally of walking is proper breathing, and with proper breathing you improve the proper functioning of the lungs.
  • If you are one of those people who spend their working time sitting in front of a computer, you have probably already noticed a deterioration in your posture. Walking will improve your posture and get rid of those back pains.
  • With this simple activity, you will easily relieve stress, clear your thoughts, which leads to better mental health.

Walking is a good way to recharge your body and reignite your mind.

Walking is great

So true!
What I have found is that by having a destination provides a structured parameter that can be measured. For example, walking from your home to the end of your block and back. If you have not had any exercise, walking this far may even be a challenge.

Walking the mall, for example, is an endless journey with no end in sight...lol. The walk seems endless.
When you walk with a purpose, or a short distance, you can build confidence that you will succeed, and that ensures more walking to further destinations.
