Start Work To Get Inspired
Lately (The last ten years) ~ I have been reading a lot. I have become a "learning addict". I get a huge buzz from expanding my mind, my knowledge, my awareness and mental acuity; I just cant wait to get more; I love math and puzzles, ( If I won lotto I would go back to school and study math), ~ I really enjoy problem solving, meditation and just generally exercising the grey matter in my skull.
I have discovered that I also enjoy being creative.
Recently I came across a quote that read something like this. I can't remember the author, sorry!
"People who have long creative lives, who do really great work for decades, they don’t get inspired and start work. They start work and get inspired. And they do this every day".
How do you create?
Is it a slog? Do you wait to get inspired? Does your inspiration kick in after one or more cups of coffee? What gets your juices flowing?

Yes, same here, sometimes I have to start first, other times the inspiration comes when I'm driving or at work; but then it almost always comes after a good coffee.

Hello Marty!
I get inspired by reading books or looking at interesting documentations on TV or Youtube. I have small scratchpad at hand an makes notes as soon as something important comes to my mind. When I least expect it good ideas comes up, most often during a jogging tour or when I go by car to my workplace.
I do not wait until I get inspired. I decide to work on my online business and then I get more and more absorbed by what I'm doing. Sometimes I have to struggle, sometimes I get an amazing flow.

Thanks for dropping by (again), its seems your access to inspiration is the same as mine. Sometimes my "good ideas" ~ or what I call AHA! moments come at the most inopportune times.
That said I have found caffeine ~ particularly coffee to be the best opening of windows to creativity. It is such a shame it also messes with my sleep quality.
