Posting Articles On Social Media Is Painfully Time Consuming! 1 Click Automate
Over the past few days, I've seen a lot of people asking for more efficient ways of posting their blogs on social media. It's understandable to want to speed this process up, especially if you have loads of platforms you are utilizing.
Its hugely time consuming copying and pasting your links onto each platform individually.
I've always been into creating more efficient and time effective ways of doing things, It's become a little hobby. I think it started with me being lazy LOL!
I've decided to share the method I use to almost automate sharing new blogs to social media platforms. If you're interested please keep reading.
A lot of people who join WA have never built a website before, so they are often nervous to do or add new things to their WordPress site or even adjust existing things because breaking the site causes aggravation.
I've seen the same scenario over and over where people shut off because things seem a little too complicated or never-ending. Sometimes people just forget certain options are around but most the time, people don't always explore properly.
See, when I start learning new software, one of the first things I do is click on EVERYTHING. Explore every little thing I can because you never know when that one click will potentially save hours, days, weeks, months of frustration.
The Method of 1 Click Automation
Wordpress offers an option called Plugins. This is the area you install and activate little add-ons which will usually enhance your site. This section is connected directly to the Wordpress plugin database and any of those plugins listed can be searched for in the search box of this area.
If you type in something like "social media" you will have a load of plugins relating to social media and ways to enhance your social media connections. To be precise, you will have 1,873 social media plugins at your fingertips.
Not all of these plugins will do exactly what you will be after, however, it's certainly a good start. If you have a peek at the image above you will see 9 plugins in individual boxes.
The way I decide if its a potentially good fit is by the rating (gold stars) and the number of downloads it had found just below the gold stars. I also look at the "Last updated" text letting me know when the developers last updated it. If it's not been updated in over a year, I would recommend not touching it for countless reasons but I don't want to go off topic. If you want to know why leave a comment below and I'll create another blog post going into detail if enough people are interested.
You can see in the image above I circled a plugin called "Blog2Social". This has almost 5 stars with 301 reviews and 20,000+ installed and it was last updated 1 month ago. It's ticking all the boxes and In the description its say "Auto-post".
I now know its basically everything I've been looking for and all I need to do is tap the install button and then "activate".
Once activated you should see:
The next steps are really simple.
- Click all the options in this. Just explore it
- Find the area to which allows you to connect your social media links
- Allow it access
- After you upload a article you simply head over to the share section and click share.
Once you tap that share button, that will automatically be posted across all social accounts you have connected. Bye bye individual posting HELLO automation.
A few things I'd like to point out:
- I am not affiliated with this plugin at all. I've seen people asking about faster ways to post to social media and I thought I'd try and help with this post.
- This plugin is 100% free. It does offer a premium but I dont think its needed.
- This post has spoken about social media plugin but the same steps can be applied for anything you want to add to your website, you just have to find the plugin and explore it.
I've tried to keep this simple and straight to the point. Please leave a comment/like letting me know how I've done.
If anyone has any other Wordpress related tutorials they would like doing, please comment below.

Thanks Marty. Just what I was looking for. I’m at a slowdown because of social media. One thing is that I don’t want my blog getting mixed up with family and friends. Also when I do post from my blog I get distracted from writing more posts. This is a big help. Thaks again
I would say, the way you are working it is so smart you are so creative mind, I will definitely want to follow you, I think we are all trying to figure out how to find the ways of posting blogs on social media more efficiently.
Thank you so much for sharing this info.

Great info Marty! I always try to keep my plugins to a minimum but to be honest you raise a really good point about it being time consuming. Posting articles to your social accounts does get tedious after a while especially when you really begin to ramp up your efforts on growing your brand and following. It is such a vital part of the process that cant be skipped. A plugin definitely makes the most sense here.
Hey Baaz, thanks for your feedback :)
Glad you picked up on one of my points. Afterall, a good business is a set of systems and procedures which work.
An excellent business is a set of procedures and systems that work without you.
Working hard is great and good job on everyone who does, but...I'd much prefer to work smart:)

Marty this is very helpful. But I installed this plugin and it told me that it was not compatible with All in one SEO plugin that Kyle suggested.
