Sometimes it just doesn't happen.need to know when to move on.
After a 18 months, about $1,500 invested and hundreds of hours, I'm setting aside my personalized children's books website. I had over 300 books from several publishers, 600 followers on Pinterest with 1,500 impressions. Even hired Jay as my website couch. It was my third website. Had visions of making addtional income as I reach retirement.
So how many books did I sell, three, and those are the ones I bought to make sure I had set up the comission tracking correctly. Never got more than five hits in a week on Google Analytics. What seemed like a great niche and was told so, didn't pan out at all. So I've set everything WA aside and and work on something that I know I can see resutls, creating stained glass windows.
A few things I learned: just because you've got a great idea, doesn't mean it's going to pan out no matter how hard you try. Even professional assistance sometimes can't move the needle. All the encourgement doesn't bring success. So, yeah, I'm a bit soured on the concept.
Those of you still working hard, keep it up, but make sure you know when it's not working and when to stop and do something different.

The loaded gun will shoot eventually.
I'm sure it will work for you at some point.
Wish you all the best

That´s really too bad, and if you had 300 posts on your website as well (you mentioned you had 300 books), something should have happened for sure.
Sorry to hear that, Martin.
