you must be VERY careful as Google could see it as duplicate content - best thing to do is a revamp and split it in two

Evil Google! :)

Thanks Paul. I will just have to find a way around it. Perhaps I should keep the content that's more difficult to reword right where it is.

or just split it up but be careful

WA Affiliate Program
Updated

I am going through the Affiliate Bootcamp training and just discovered that we are able to share WA content. I shared my own blog on my own profile and was immediately blocked

Thank you everyone who responded. I took all of the advice and put it into action. It was definitely some sort of malware. I ran Advanced System Care, then Iobit Malware Figther. Then I deleted my cookies and ran both programs again just to make sure. I am no longer locked out of the account.

I haven't tried to share the link again. I'm almost petrified to try since I barely got anything done today. I will try again tomorrow and give an update just in case this ever comes up again.

:)

You should be fine to share your link. The malware undoubtedly came from an app, email, or a hack..just coincidence that it happened right after your post...

hi this is Dee... you may want to clear the cookies on you computer, then run a anti virus problem to clean your computer, and lastly contact Dell ( if you have Dell) and they can run a clean-up on your computer, then when all is done try to log back on to Facebook. I hope this helps. Good Luck

Thank you!! I have a feeling that clearing cookies will help. The thought came to mind to do that after realizing the directive to download the software is not legitimately from Facebook. Everyone is very helpful. Thank you!!

Glad i could be some help to you, and I hope your pc issue gets resolved. Dee

I used to be an IT guy for a while. This sounds like an infection to me.

I have posted wa links a number of times to my facebook page. I just went and checked my page and I have nothing like that happening to my personal page or any of my Pages.

I would recommend you go to cnet.com/downloads.com and install malwarebytes antibytes. Run the updates and then run the full system scan. Another great program to keep your computer from becoming infected is advanced system care. Both have free or premium additions. You can start with the freeware and if that doesn't fix the problems, you can easily upgrade to premium versions.

There is probably a code blocking your browser from accessing facebook that redirects you to the popup. If it's a real nasty infection it may block all software installations and even access to your system restore. In some cases malware can even remain in your bios after reinstalling your entire operating system unless you do a full format of the hard drive.

There are some malware scanners that run a scan before windows boots that can locate the files and clean the bios. Majorgeeks.com is a good resources for techs... Hope this helps!

Thanks Borncos!! Luckily I have some scanners on my computer in case that becomes a problem. I've run Advanced SystemCare. I am in the process of running Iobit Malware Fighter. I changed my password to something real cryptic and nonsensical. I will change it again once this is all resolved.

I think the best way to do it is through your addthis sharing buttons on your website, but you need to setup the social settings with an image on whatever post/page you're on.

Thank you Dunnboy. I was referring to the WA content on the WA site. However, I've been wondering how to do this also. You've saved me several weeks of waiting. :)

I see Sorry, well in that case what you need to do is download windows security essentials and run a full scan if that's a no go then try downloading AVG Protection and do the same thing one of them should work.

Thanks ColinU. I went through all the comments that was related to Facebook and F-Secure. It appears to be some scammy way of getting people to download the program. Apparently downloading the program worked for no one, but F-Secure got a bunch of new leads. Smh...

I'm just really glad it has nothing to do with Facebook blocking Wealthy Affiliate. I was looking forward to sharing a lot of great content... over time of course.

Thank you!

Sounds strange. Sorry to hear you're going through this. If you can access Facebook from your phone, it seems it's computer issue and not Facebook. Try restarting your computer and see if the problem persist.

Thanks Victoro... It looks like I'm getting a lot of good advice here. I will try them all and then update the post in a few. :)

You are growing and yiu are changing so why waste you time with your old thinking and doing what you were doing - move on and move upwards!!!!

Unfortunately it will hurt your ranking because the search engines will consider your new site duplicate content. I transferred one of my sites to a new domain and because Google considered it duplicate content, it took almost a month to get my site ranked.

It is possible to do it, but it's going to take a while before your new site gets indexed. Just make sure you delete your old sites.

Best of luck,
Diana

Thanks Diana. I guess it seems smarter to simply rewrite them, and keep those recipes off of my page.... or find a way to rewrite the recipes, perhaps rearrange the ingredients, and reword the instructions.

I wonder if I could temporarily not index those recipes, and then index them when I have ranking.
