Week 7 Affiliate Bootcamp Update: Working Through Sickness

Marlinda here with part of my Affiliate Bootcamp update 😎

This past week didn’t go the way I expected. I’ve been sick and also had a small procedure done on my back, so, tbh I had to step back a bit and rest a lot.

Because of that, I haven't posted anything on my site blog for the past week and a half, which, for me, at least at this point, is not ideal. But I needed to take care of myself first and trying to not feel guilty about it.

Nevertheless, even with this setback, I was surprised to see that my website traffic still went up. I had 395 visitors, which is a 237.6% increase from the previous 28 days.

I’ve been seeing more link clicks too, though I’m still trying to figure out how WA’s tracking works with that. It’s not super clear to me yet, but I do think people are clicking through.

Most of my traffic came directly, and I also saw a little more coming from social media and referrals. There’s a small percentage coming in from my Facebook ads, which is good to see even though I haven’t spent much yet and tbh, I'm learning and experimenting with it too.

I did get some negative comments on one Facebook posts, mostly people calling the program a scam. That part stung a bit, especially since I was already feeling pretty down. But I’ve been reminding myself that those comments don’t define the work I’m doing or the value in it.

No referrals yet, but right now I really just want to feel better, lol.

Progress is still happening, even if it’s not bridged over to income yet. And that’s okay.
