Finding My Way Again: Business, Healing, and a New Season of Clarity
Hey there,
Its been 3 months (at the time of this writing) since I've been intentional about working my online business and sharing my journey. In general, its been a reset, not just in business, but in life as well.
When I started rebuilding my online business though, I quickly realized that a lot has changed. With the rise of AI search and new ways of ranking, I had to relearn so much of what I thought I knew. But instead of feeling overwhelmed, this time I feel like I can finally breathe.
For a while, I was just surviving. Over the past five years, I experienced several miscarriages before finally being able to carry my youngest daughter full term. That alone was an emotional journey to say the least. On top of that was the constant mental tug-of-war between pleasing others and doing what I knew was best for me and my family.
One big decision I made was pulling my daughter from traditional school to homeschool her, a dream I’d always had, but never felt brave enough to step into. Watching her flourish without the stress she carried before has been such a blessing. And we just wrapped up our first semester together.
I’ve also found myself creating again, baking, filming, writing, just doing things that make me feel alive. Being in the kitchen with my family brings me back to life. It’s something I had slowly let slip away when life got heavy, but now it’s coming back piece by piece.
I’m also filming a series of videos to show what I’ve been learning, especially around AI search and content creation. There’s a lot to relearn, but I’m excited for this new season. I may be moving at a slower pace than some, but I’m moving with purpose and that’s what matters.
If you’re in a season of rebuilding, I just want to say: it’s okay to go at your own pace. Growth doesn’t always look like speed. Sometimes it looks like choosing peace, making bold decisions, and quietly laying one brick at a time.
And outside of Internet Incomes, my oldest site which I've been working on the most has finally started to generate more sales. Right on cue at the 3 months mark.
So keep growing and learning, your efforts will produce results too.

Thanks for sharing your real-life snippets, Marlinda. It touches the hearts who read it carefully because it resonates in many ways, though we all have such stories, even if different. One thing is true though: learning to relearn.
I'd say keep the momentum going. Teach. Be. Do. Then before you know, meaning is coming to you each day, as an individual and as a family. Wishing you and the family all the best for this season and beyond.
I am glad you have overcome these challenges and what a positive effect it has had on multiple facets of your life.
Hi Marlinda, your message breathes real life, the one that bounces back after storms. Thank you for sharing these 3 difficult months that you went through with courage. It's also very inspiring to see how you move forward at your own pace, with AI and your videos, without rushing.
Congratulations on the results coming to fruition.
