Hello, I am having such a hard time getting the images placed properly on my pages. I must be doing something wrong because I am having trouble cropping or even moving the pic

If your screen in jumping, it sounds like maybe a rogue plugin or theme causing you issues. Have you installed any new plugins not recommend by Kyle? When was the last time your theme was updated? With regards to adding images though, I wouldn't worry too much about placement. Every screen size is different so exact placement won't matter. I stick to center-align, and call it a day!

I did change to a different theme pretty recently, I'm just kind of getting started but I keep having issues with the images. I did install some plug-ins but they were suggested at the top of the screen for my particular theme. I also noticed that it is only some pictures that give me that problem. Then the words don't flow around the pictures they leave awkward spacing. Thanks for the links I will watch them asap. I appreciate the support!

Double check the size of your images too. You can resize them in Wordpress

I got some help from the tech department, it was my browser. I changed browsers and now it works!

Awesome! Glad they could help out.

I'm not sure what you're doing wrong but bear in mind you can always crop your images with an image editor before you upload them, if that's easier for you.

Another point to remember - the layout in the content editor does not necessarily reflect how your post is going to look.

The text will reflow according to the width of the user's browser window.

Whenever I go to click on the picture the whole screen just jumps down below. But I did not realize that the text would reflow. Thank you for the info.

That sounds frustrating and I'm sorry I couldn't be more help. Are you editing the page on a desktop/laptop or on a mobile device?
