i got a domain from name cheap how can i add it to hosting then my web site please
Mark
In order to host your site at WA is a simple task.
From NameCheap on the left side access your domain.
You will want to "Transfer" your domain from NameCheap to WA by filling in the new server information as follows:
Primary Nameserver: ns1.mywahosting.com
Secondary Nameserver: ns2.mywahosting.com
Once done it usually happens fairly quickly, but I have heard folks say they had to wait up to a day or so.
I hope this helps if you need further clarification drop me a note, glad to help.

Move 2freewebsites.siterubix.com to another domain
×
Step 1Where do you want to move your website?
Enter a domain name
Have you already purchased this domain name?
YES - If you already own 2freewebsites.net, your DNS settings are not quite setup yet. You must point that domain at Wealthy Affiliate nameservers. To do this, you will update your DNS by following these instructions.
NO - If you don’t own 2freewebsites.net, you can see if it is available to buy it through NameCheap.com (around $10 per year). For help with this, follow these instructions.
Step 2Now just move your site!
When we move your website to 2freewebsites.net, all of your old links from 2freewebsites.siterubix.com will direct to this domain.

Are you involved with any of the courses, they start at the beginning and walk you through step by step.
There is no 1 single video that comes to mind about "setting up a website"
Here is a link for the certification courses,

i bought a domain from GoDaddy. i want to get rid of the siterubix address i have for my website and want to change the domain to the one i bought.
I want to let my domain remain with GoDaddy.
what do i do ?
I have read the documents about pointing it to WA. Is that essential ?
Thanx in advance.
Aparna
One thing is the domain name, another different thing is the hosting company (where your site resides), so if you want to keep your current registrar (GoDaddy), the next step is where you want your site is hosted.
In order to have full control of your site and use what WA offers: Site Manager, Site Builder, Site Content, etc. you should host your site here.
Tom
Domain is the site address, Hosting is where the content for your site exists.
Where you purchase the domain isn't a problem, you can point the hosting nameservers to any domain.
There is a move tool found under Websites>>sitemanager that will enable you to transfer the siterubix site to the purchased domain.
Since it seems you registered your domain name recently, you can’t transfer it to WA yet. You need to wait 60 days to proceed. In the meantime, you can point your domain name to WA: WA Hosting - Setting Up Your Domain DNS Once you are able to transfer your domain, you could follow the steps in this link: Transfer Domain Name from GoDaddy to Wealthy Affiliate SiteDomains Although It is recommended to have your domain name on WA, it’s not necessary.
