My First Blog

This is not what I thought my first blog would be about, but I think this as good as anything to write about.

While I was out cycling yesterday I became involved in a cycling accident where my cycling partner was hit head on by a bike coming around a blind corner. As she lay on the ground and I rang 000 for an Ambulance and tried to attend to her and also the fellow who hit her, people stop there cars and came over to offer there assistance stating that they were first aid qualified. It was so reassuring to get so much help as it took about 25 minutes for the ambulance to arrive. As we were on a cycling path there were many other cyclist who stopped and offered assistance also.

I would like to thank everyone who helped out and offered there assistance yesterday. It looks like my cycling partner will be in hospital for the next few days for observation.

I guess this is not about selling, marketing etc but it is about human nature.

Thanks Mark

Hi, Mark congratulations for your first WA post I hope that your friend is ok, jump in and get cracking with your WA journey. human nature and selling and marketing are three very good friends.

Hi Mark, sorry to hear about your friend, I hope that she recovers quickly. This is a really useful first post if it helps drivers and cyclists to review their consideration for each other! So many thanks for this timely reminder, Sue :)

I hope that your friend is okay! It is good to know that there we so many people willing to help you!

Hope your friend recovers quickly....this applies 100% to marketing and WA. You see time and again blogs asking for help, or something bad happened to a website/traffic/etc.. Time and again you see the outpouring of help and advice. Just like a group of cyclists, we are a group of those seeking online success.

Thanks Rosie, yes you are wright WA is a community.

Hey Mark wow, this is quite a touching story. I am so glad that there are still people out there willing to lend a helping hand. We all hope that your cycling friend will be ok! It sounds like they're on the road to recovery.

This anecdote is very analogous to the nature of WA - we are also all here to lend a helping hand to any and all who may need it.

Now I know I am still new, but I am learning everyday. My website is all about helping people - and it's in my nature to do so!

Thanks for the story Mark and best of luck to you here. :)
