Just 7 days into premium, and I've done this already.

I'm just 7 days in to my premium membership and I've already done so much more than I could of ever hoped for.

Here's what I would have done without the WA training.

I...

  • ...wouldn't have even started... but if I did...
  • ...would have started a website with little direction
  • ...wouldn't have created as many social media accounts
  • ...wouldn't have done ANY keyword research
  • ...would have just started writing aimlessly, hoping to get noticed
  • ...wouldn't have branded myself
  • ...would have no direction or motivation
  • ...would have given up by now. Guaranteed.

This may not say much for me, but I can be quite impatient. As a magician, being impatient isn't ideal as magic takes a lot of effort and time to perfect. The WA program has given me the knowledge that this isn't going to happen overnight, so just like with my magic, I need to put time and dedication into making this work.

Here's what I've actually done so far...

  • Hand coded and designed a website from scratch designed to show content immediately on landing.
  • Branded with logos created a consistent colour scheme to run throughout everything.
  • Create Social Media Accounts: Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, Google+
  • Doing and will continue to keyword research
  • Have around 30+ blog post ideas where keywords have been researched.
  • Created business cards and a T-Shirt (I'll be meeting people for Q&A's so will give a professional look upon meeting them).
  • Created custom email addresses i.e mark[at]mywebsitehere.com questions[at]mywebsitehere.com and so on.
  • Set up a mailing list and automated welcome email for new subscribers with a CTA of "Articles to get you started"
  • Set up analytics and webmaster tools
  • Read and re-read a lot of training here on WA

I'm truly so full of motivation and excitement. I've decided that this is what I'm doing and I've took action rather than "Wait for the right time" or thought "I can't do this yet"

I've just listened to Earl Nightingale's "Strangest Secret" (Google it, it's incredible) he makes the statement below.

Don't ask the fire for heat first, then promise it wood later.

You have to provide the fuel first before you get a return. And I'm putting the fuel on the fire with plenty of reserves behind me too.

Keeping this in mind...

I've made this decision. New York, baby!

In one of my first posts, I said one of my goals is that I would like to take my family to New York for Christmas 2019, if I do well with my website.

Just make a decision Mark.
Make. A. Decision. (In the voice of Earl Nightingale)

OK, I just made the decision that we are going to New York for Christmas in 2019 and I've booked the flights and hotel. I've put down a non-refundable deposit, and we are going. Not on the credit card (You should only use credit for assets that will provide a return, not luxuries)

Now I'm even more accountable for my actions! As it stands at this minute, we can't afford to pay for it. Maybe I'm crazy, some people would say so yes, or maybe I know how committed I am.

If you're reading this in 2019 I'm just 7 days into my Pemium membership and not made a penny... yet.

Thank you all for the motivation.

Your stories of success and acheived goals are definitely keeping me going. A community full of inspiring people, and it's great to be a part of it.

Keep watching!

I think a lot of times the universe and even the deepest parts of ourselves respond best to a make or break situation...the kind of situation where you make a decision no matter how insane and then box yourself off from all other possible paths effectively giving it no choice.

You have done this spectacularly so it looks like you will be in new york for Christmas. I look forward to following along.

Me? I decided I do this full time so 2 weeks in quit my job, took some money set aside for other things and paid 6 months of my portion of upcoming bills.

2 months in and the progress is breathtaking- 1 more month until my initial goal and I am on pace to hit it right on the head

Congrats on your progress so far :-)

That's amazing Christina!

I'll be following your progress!
I quit my 8am to 6pm office job last year, and I've had more success from doing it than I could have ever imagined.

Bookings for the magic flood in, even when I don't expect them.

Doing what you've done is not brave, not clever, it's the right thing to do when you believe in yourself and understand what you're capable of.

I wish you all the very best for success!

P.s Just to clarify it's Christmas 2019 we're going, not this Christmas :-)

Well, enjoy in 2019 :-) that's almost better than going this year, well for me lol...I get great joy in the planning stages.

Doing the smart thing is overrated lol and how we remain stuck.

6 years I moved across the country with a couple hundred dollars, a few suitcases, and toddler in toe after liquidating everything in my house to afford the tickets.

Smart? not even a little bit I was so scared I spent the week before sick to my stomach but my success was guaranteed..I had left no other option.

We moved to break out of the "poor city" rut and when we landed I got to work ...we have outpaced even my wildest expectations leaving me in the position to do this here and now.

I guess the long point is, I have a habit of jumping off tall brides into the dark without a safety net AND I have a history of landing on my feet.

It appears you share this trait lol No rut of fear to hold us back.

I can't wait to see you a year from now crushing it :-)

Way to go Mark! You have achieved a lot in 7 days! Congratulations!

Goal setting helps you to remain focused. I have set some goals and I'm ready to achieve them.

I have no doubts that you will make it to New York with your family using revenue from your website.

Wishing you continued achievements and successes!

Thank you Jackie!

Writing it down and sharing makes it all the more real too, and just keeps it at the forefront of my mind.

Very best wishes with your goals too!

You're welcome Mark!
