moving slowly through the core training
I'm moving slow but making progress. I just did a logo for my new .com website. I keep thinking about how success could change the life of my family and I. The new website I'm working on is dealing with anxiety, depression and addiction. I have struggled with all 3 of these, luckily I'm sober over 25 years. My day job is that of an electrician, I'm not used to writing. This is all new to me. Thanks WA for all of your help

Mark,
Take your time! And go back as many times as needed to grasp the concept in each lesson. I posted a couple of days ago that I was going through the core training from start to finish again. And I discovered I had completely overlooked all the tabs at the top of my hub!! I was so shocked to find ALL of the information that was available there! I have been here, off and on going on 10 years! I kept quitting because it was very difficult for a non-techy to build a website even 4 years ago because almost everything was manual and took obscene amounts of time! But now with AI, and ALL the automation WA has added, I know I can do it now!! So hang in there! I will be glad to help you if I can. If not, there are a lot of gurus here that have made it. I'm sure they will help you! Take care, and God speed in the New Year to financial freedom!!
I was once a tow truck driver. Once you get going, it gets easier and we are all here to help if you need it.
Michael
thank you Michael, I see you are an ambassador, you must be doing the right stuff. Tow truck driver can be a dangerous job.
Congrats! After a long break (2 years), I'm starting my online career, and I'm going to redo the Wealthy Affiliate CORE training from the first week of January 2026.
Mark, I really appreciate you sharing this. Moving slow and making progress is still progress, especially when you’re learning something completely new. Creating a site around anxiety, depression, and addiction from lived experience takes a lot of courage. And congrats on 25+ years of sobriety, that’s a huge accomplishment!
Balancing a full-time job with building something meaningful isn’t easy, but your heart is clearly in the right place. You’re doing the work, and that counts.
Please share your website on your profile. I would love to see it. Especially since the one I’ve been working on is on a similar niche.
Jenn
thank you Jenn, I will put my website on my profile, it's still very new. Yes, balancing a full time job, a wife and 7 year old son does not leave a whole lot of time. I have been doing some in morning and night, sometimes in between service calls at work. Thanks for your kind words. Keep in touch and happy new year...Mark

Progress is progress, even when it’s slow. Creating your logo is a big step forward. Congratulations on over 25 years of sobriety, that’s an incredible testimony. Writing may be new, but your story already has strength and purpose. Keep going, one step at a time. WA is a great place to grow, and you’re clearly on the right path.
Thank you for your kind words, yes I'm going to keep moving forward
