Blog for Course 2, Lesson 1
Hello WA folks. I'm on Course 2 Lesson 10 and currently writing my first blog.
I have created my first website and must say I'm quite amazed where I am now verses when I started the WA training. My website is -
affordablehuntingandfishing.com
I took the advise from WA supporters and had a logo made for my site using fiverrs, what great advise. Thinking about having hats and/or t-shirts made with the logo.
It may sound funny to y'all, but the most difficult challenge for me has been and still is the social media aspects of assuring a successful website. I have a lot of difficulty just following people within the WA site let alone G+. I'm saving the dreaded facebook for last. I simply don't see how it is possible to stay up with that much traffic.
My 3 month goal is to get some cash flow through my site, I don't really care how much right now, just anything.
My 6 month goal is to be earning at least $500 a month.
Thanks for reading my post and God bless you all.
P.S. Just to show you how much I still have to learn, I notice an "Add Tag" button below this blog and have no idea what a Tag is.

Your site is coming along beautifully! The only suggestion I have is it just looks a bit crowded on your left side bar.
I didn't use Social Media at first too, because I always use a Pen name so I didn't want to get involved.
I've found though, however, in creating a Pinterest, Facebook, Google +, and using an old twitter (and soon to be using tumblr) that it is actually very affective to get your Website out and around without just fishing (no pun intended :) for keywords (and I have Jaxxy).
Just some food for thought, if you need any help just ask!

Thanks ProjectFrame, once I get better at manipulating through wordpress I will look into the crowded side bar. I'm a bit paranoid I'll blow the thing up if I mess with it right now.
Yep, I know the social media thing has got to happen, it is difficult though for someone that is a bit of a hermit by nature.
Thanks so much for you response.
Yea of course! I totally get that. I've blown up my site several times so don't be to scared.

That is my main site, currently working on two others if you care to check it out!

Everything will become easier with time.
Not that long ago, we were exactly where you are now, thinking about the exact things you're thinking now - especially about social media.
Tags are words or phrases that describe or indicate to your reader what your blog is about. If they put in keywords that match your tags, it enables them to find your blog easier if it's something they are interested in.
Thanks...time is something I have.
