I just created a new post and noticed the Permalink has added a -2 to the title.
The post title is Best Gun Cleaner Lubricant
and the Permalink reads:

I just created a new post and noticed the Permalink has added a -2 to the title.
The post title is Best Gun Cleaner Lubricant
and the Permalink reads:
Before your internet outage, it might have saved a draft, and you probably started a new post. If there was a draft post, or a similar post in your trash, then that's why it adds a -2 to the permalink.
Check your drafts and trashed posts and delete the post you most likely made before your outage permenantely.
Then you can edit the permalink and remove the "2".
You rock Moritz S, that was it, found it under deleted, removed it and renamed the post without the -2. Can't thank you enough brother.

Thanks Shawn but I was hoping to find out why these errors are there before I dissallow them. I mean, is there an inherent issue with the way I'm doing things to cause it? Just dissallowing them kind of feels like just sweeping it under the rug.

It could have been at the very second that your website was crawled, that particular page wasn't loading or was loading very slow. If this page is now working, I wouldn't be too concerned. In this case you should ask Google to recrawl and fetch this page again:

Thanks, so just run with the post and don't worry about the -2?
