Target Failed, But More Motivated Than Ever! One Month In

When I first joined WA, I set a very ambitious (and maybe a little silly) target of writing 1000 articles in 1000 days. This target was absolutely achievable when I had the whole day to myself and I made a great start writing 16 articles in 16 days.

However, then real life hit and I had to go back to University. The work load there was much higher than I was expecting and, unfortunately, I had to put article writing on the back seat. I have still wrote 22 articles in the first 30 days of the website being live which still ain't too bad.

I am not really getting any traffic yet, but this was expected. I am ranking for 30 phrases on webmaster tools, but not many yet for my target keywords. Hopefully, this will begin to change as I build out more content. I am now aiming for 70 articles on my website on Christmas Day. Hopefully, at that time, I will have a small, but steady stream of traffic visiting my site.

Other things to do over the next few months;

> Start work on a free e-book which I will give away to viewers in exchange for their e-mail.

> I really need to switch the theme of my site to make it more visually appealing. I am focusing on building content for now. When I hit my 70 target, I will begin work on the switch over.

I have also got a referral from somewhere. I have no idea how this happened as I have not posted my WA Affiliate link anywhere. Looks like I have 2 WA tokens which I can exchange for $1. Please let me say I can count this as my first Internet $$$!!!!
