Just wondering how well my profile intro reads to those with a critical eye. Too long? Or what?
All input appreciated.

Hi, Mark. Your BIO reads like a storybook. What a motivation to all of us. I can just echo what Erin said, my friend. You are busy writing your life's story, and what a memorable one it will be.
Blessings and may God's favour fill your life even more.
Hennie
Thanks so much Hennie. I cannot convey how much meaning your words have to me. I count every day a blessing, as the good Lord has granted me one more day to walk on the green side. Some days I ignore that fact and follow my own self-will. That is when things go sideways. As long as I keep my focus on God, and follow His Will to the best of my very mortal abilities, it turns out good. I must remember to do the next right thing. And for that, all I need do is ask of Him.
Blessings to you my friend.
Mark
p.s.: adding on a little piece I wrote for the new year. It's far from perfect, but I had fun writing this. Hope you enjoy it.
I'd love to blog this one, but I think it's a little off scope for a community post. So here's to you!
WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES A DAY MAKE?
Today, 31 December, the year of 2017 comes to an end.
At the end of this One Day the new year, 2018 begins 1 January.
One Day? 24 Hours; 1,440 minutes; 86,400 seconds.
That constitutes the change of an entire year??
• Question: What difference does ONE DAY make?
• Answer: One DAY makes a difference possible.
One Day, has changed the lives of people, for better or worse, irrevocably.
One DAY, has seen a new life take its first breath.
One DAY, has seen a life take its last breath, young and old alike.
One DAY, has seen the start of a War.
One DAY, has changed “the tide of War”.
One DAY, has seen the end of a War.
One DAY, irrevocably changed the world, Forever.
• One DAY, God's only begotten Son, Jesus, came in to this world born of a woman as a mortal man.
• One DAY, God allowed His Only Son to be “crushed” by sinful man to Save ALL men!
• One DAY, Jesus allowed Himself to be spiked to a wooden cross and lifted up!
• One DAY, God allowed the Sins of the World to be taken on by His Only Son, Jesus Christ!
• One DAY, Christ, God incarnate, died and His Blood was poured out to cover the Sins of ALL men!
• One DAY, God, by Grace, and the Blood of Jesus, promised Redemption and Justification for ALL men!
• One DAY, Christ conquered Death, Resurrected, providing THE path to Everlasting Life for ALL men!
John 3:16-18 For God So Loved the World
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
One DAY, has changed the World, and the lives of many, Forever.
One DAY, did not provide to Save ALL men.
One DAY, did provide the WAY to Salvation of ALL men.
For some, it took us MANY Days to accept that One DAY!
One DAY, changed My Live Forever.
That is the unfathomable miracle of God's divine Grace and Mercy. Jesus will seek out those that He will qualify. No matter how hard we resist, how far we try to run, or how much darkness we place around us, He will find us and bring us Home.
Many do not understand the difference One DAY makes. I did not understand the difference One DAY would make. And I fought for many years to avoid that One DAY.
Many, including myself, misunderstood the meaning of that One DAY. I misunderstood many things.
I think of the Book of Revelations. I greatly misunderstood that. Many others do as well.
Revelations is NOT a book about despair and destruction.
Revelations IS a book about Hope, Redemption, and Resurrection! Despair and destruction are spread throughout Revelations. Many only hear or see those parts.
Revelations far overshadows these things with God's Own words for Hope Everlasting.
Revelations reveals the difference ONE DAY makes. It reveals that One Day All things will be made right.
Revelations 1:1-8 (ESV)
Prologue
1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. 3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.
Greeting to the Seven Churches
4 John to the seven churches that are in Asia:
Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth.
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood 6 and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
One Day, starts your life anew.
One Day, is all it takes.
One Day, 1, January, starts the new year of 2018!
May the Grace of God and the Love of Jesus be within you throughout the New Year of 2018!
WOWWWWWW, Mark. It is brilliant and well said. Will you mind if I pass this on to my disciple groups and post it on my Christian website? I will give credit to you.
Hennie
Hennie, I give you permission to use that in any manner that you see fit. I am agog at your response, thrilled beyond compare! I always considered myself an excellent writer when it came to technical or legalistic matters. Creative writing I never to much credit for. Your response has me reconsidering that opinion. I got away from doing the contemplative writing that I used to do quite often. It was rather my communing with God, then just free flow write whatever came to mind. I need to revisit that exercise. I allows enjoyed that, just lost touch with same.
I pray that those words prove useful for teaching and inspiration.
All my best!
Mark
Wow, Mark, you've had quite a journey to get to this point in life! Your bio was both impressive and also brave. Concluding that you were blessed through it all signifies to me that you can achieve anything you put your mind to. Stay focused and joyful ALL THE TIME, and you'll succeed in all you do!
The length of your bio is great---mine is long, too!
Great minds think alike! lol Your kind words are much appreciated Erin. I look forward to watching our mutual successes mount!
Mark
Mark, you can trust this wonderful person completely. Ask her opinion on the question that you've asked me. Hear what she has to say. Just a suggestion.
Hennie
Nice to know I'm in good company! Thanks for the feedback. Look forward to many more. All my best.
