Australia’s bush fire crisis.
My poor fellow Australians in NSW and Queensland, who are suffering enormous heartache and loss. If you haven't heard residents of NSW and Queensland in rural Australia are experiencing enormous bush fires. Over fifty fires burning in each state.
Two people have already lost their lives and countless homes have been burned to the ground. With the winds expected to get stronger over the coming days fire fighters will be fighting I vein to stop these raging fires.
Residents from both towns want answers from the government and are putting this down to global warming, due to the burning of fossil fuels and coal. I have to agree. Our government doesn't want to take action, they just want to keep exporting coal and stuffing their wallets.
They say its to benefit the Australian economy, but the everyday working Aussie, does not see any of it.
Disgusting behavior, something has to be done to save our planet before it's too late. It will be the future generations that will suffer from this lack of action.

So sad, Mark. Recently, we had to deal with haze due to burning and it was suffocating. Fires are much worse. I believe ALL government metrics have to be changed to reflect local issues and benefits foremost for their citizens and residents. There is a saying, "What gets measured, gets done." Therefore, the only way is to set these 'goals' for them.
Yeah, it is a sad day when your government worry more about foreign trade export than the hard working Aussies that help build this country.
It is hearbreaking Mark that our government won't even discuss it at this time. Head in the sand.
