Greatness
That which makes you great will not be found in what you have in common with others, but rather in what makes you different. What you share with others is what makes up the average and I'm not talking about what makes you just like them. I'm talking about what you can bring to the table that is unique to you and can be developed and expanded upon. That precious gift you were blessed with that makes you YOU, rather than just some other member of the human race.
THAT is the thing that when developed, has the potential to change your life and that of those you influence in some very measurable ways. Every great person in history became who they were because of that one thing they had that made them different. I have always believed that everyone has such a gift, but that not everyone recognizes it and fewer still will develop it, once they do.
Some will lack confidence, while others will simply be afraid to stand apart from the crowd and fly their little freak-flag. But you don't have to let that stop you. You have ONE life to live (that we know of) and it's up to you to either use the gifts you were blessed with or let them waste away, because you were afraid to be different and stand on your own. That is probably your best chance at achieving greatness and leaving a lasting legacy. So whatever you do, don't blow it.

Wow - I strongly believe in this point of yours that what you have that is unique or different from what a common man does is simply what makes you great in life. It's the source of greatness for any man wishing to be a great person in a lifetime. Thanks for the post!
Yes, Mark! Some could be introvert as they do not feel confortable with the social media. I used to behave in this manner where I don’t like my face to be seen in FB or leave any comment on FB.
Everyone is unique! We all have ‘special power’ to impact and change the world :o)
That't true and I can certainly relate. I used to post things like this on FB all the time. But as it happens, the friends I grew up with that I keep in touch with on that platform don't think much like me at all. I have little in common with them, anymore. So I try save most of those thoughts for this platform, where people tend to reach a bit higher and want more for themselves.
