Hi - the most famous of all comets, Comet Halley, left a shower of debri when it last passed close by the Earth in 1986. If you look up over the next few nights, you may see some shooting stars.

Bottom line - look up - you could see up to 15 meteors or shooting stars per hour over the next couple of nights.

All the best, Mark

Thank you for the information. Will watch out for it.

I remember seeing Halley's Comet back in '86. It wasn't all that close to earth but you could still clearly see the tail.

Hi Steve - I remember it clearly (or quite fuzzily) too.

Cheers, Mark

Thanks for the heads up :)

This must be a pretty view. Will hope for clear sky. Thank you, Mark!

I'll be looking for those shooting stars. Thanks Mark.

Cheers Deb,

Mark

Going to be raining here for the next few days.

That's a shame - hopefully it'll let up just a little for you!

Thanks for sharing. I'll keep an eye out. :)
