Last week I was led to WA, and one week later I am proud as what I managed to achieve in my first week. Lao Tzu's famous quote about the Journey of One Thousand Miles starts with the first step, each day I aimed to do something, chip way so to speak. Monday was a public holiday here in Oz so I did indulge and spent the whole day checking out what WA was all about, introducing myself and reading what others have achieved.

I managed to complete level 1 training and created a WordPress website. I watched some tutorials, read other contributors posts, even joined in Live Chat for a while. Through clicking and exploring, I like to do this to see where you end up, I clicked on Street Articles. I read the blog and followed the recommendations. I also saw the 30 in 30 challenge and signed up. My philosophy is nothing ventured, nothing gained. I am not a blogger,I didn't know what that was until a few weeks ago. So I went about and created my first article, uploaded it and it was rejected. As this is all new, I did the modifications and uploaded again. Bingo, this time success. Well imagine my delight when someone read it. Wow, talk about chuffed. Then I recalled my challenge 30 in 30 so I did another, uploaded that and then Thursday uploaded my third article. Talk about addictive. This is cool. Today I managed to create two more articles (my week gets a bit busy with other obligations) so I spent a bit of extra time today writing.

Just wanted to share my first week in the WA community and what you can achieve with some focus. Washing is piling up, there are a few house hold chores that have been sacrificed ... but have I had a great week learning new things.
