I’ve been told that I should use yoast for my SEO. Can anyone enlighten me?
SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is about improving your website's visibility in search engine results to get more visitors. Yoast is an SEO plugin for WordPress that helps optimize your content for search engines. It suggests keywords, improves content readability, customizes how your site appears in search results and provides other helpful tools.
Remember, SEO involves multiple factors, and while Yoast can assist with on-page optimization, other aspects like backlinks and quality content are also crucial for SEO success.

As most others have stated any of the SEO plugins you use are fine. Just don't reply on them use them as a tool and don't fall into their trap with the need to upgrade or purchase other areas they will ask.
The free version is just fine.
Wishing you well

Any of the popular ones will do. It's not important. They don't really help with SEO, just give you some figures.

You are not obliged to use any; it depends on your preferences.
You can use Rank Math, Yoast, AIO SEO, SEO Press, etc.; however, WA recommends the SEO framework. Setting Your Website Up for Search Engines (Using The SEO Framework) That's what's installed by default.
Please be aware of using ONE plugin at a time. Otherwise, there would be conflicts.

I followed a few companies to narrow my search, but I need to go through the entire list again to see who I followed. is there a way to access who I followed without going thou
Looks like you are very well covered here, with some very good advice and guidance!
-Mike
Wealthy Affiliate offers the "Promote" tab, which allows you to see the affiliate programs you have followed.
To access the list of affiliate programs you followed:
Log in to your Wealthy Affiliate account.
Navigate to the "Promote" tab in the left-hand menu.
Under "My Affiliate Programs," you should see a list of the affiliate programs you have followed.
From there, you can review the list without having to go through it again manually.
The "Promote" tab is a helpful feature to keep track of the affiliate programs you are interested in promoting.

Hi - I assume you are talking about the Promote tab?
If so, yes, you can see them.
In the search bar, there is a star; click on this, and it will turn yellow and bring up all the programs you are following.
I have to say, I don't really know the purpose of following a program, I don't know if it does anything, other than add them to your list.
yes in the promote tab..... i only did it so i could access them easliy later without going through the list :) thank you!!
i would note them down in a notepad or spreadsheet.
Look up your browsers history if you have not cleared your cache

Hey Maricella,
If YOU have left a comment (in response to someone else) on YOUR website, you can do whatever you want! It;'s YOUR Website.
Rather than getting really technical, let's just do it the quick and simple way, LOL.
Go into your WordPress back offfice to the comments' section
Highlight the text from the comment, COPY, then delete the entire comment using the DELETE botton just below.
Reply to the individual again under your Correct gravatar account name, PASTE, click confirm.
Job Done!

Im just starting level 3, so I haven’t made any money or have much traffic on my sight but am so impressed with WA that I want to share it with everyone, when is a good
Hi Maricella,
You can recommend Wealthy Affiliate as an affiliate at any time you like. However, my recommendation would be that if you want to get the most out of promoting WA, you will want to do so with a dedicated site that you learn how to set up in the Bootcamp training. Getting Started! And it can be tough going through two separate training courses at once (OEC and Bootcamp) and running two sites at once as a beginner, so I would recommend focussing on one training course/site at this stage.
That said, you can get your WA affiliate links at any time from the following page, and use those to recommend WA to your visitors in the way Brenda suggested, for example.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share/links
That's unlikely to get you lots of sales, but it is still a way to recommend WA while you're focussing on your niche site, and you could end up making some sales this way.
Tim
Ok cool!!! I was thinking about documenting my journey on social media, that’s why I was asking….
Oh okay, that's a great idea. And in that case, what you may want to do is set up a simple site (even a free .siterubix site) where you have a review of WA (or something similar) so that, when you want to link people to WA, you can link people to that page instead, which then leads to WA.
Reason being, you don't really want to share affiliate links on most social media platforms, as they often don't like that. But it's fine to link to a page on your site that contains affiliate links. You will learn all about this stuff in the Bootcamp training, so that's the best place to go to learn more, but that's the gist of it.
You can jump right into the Affiliate Bootcamp immediately. There’s no minimum earnings you need to have earned before promoting WA.
Promoting WA is all about showing how effecting this training is for learning. Just like you mentioned how you’re impressed with how WA is set up, this is exactly the kind of content you’d be sharing. How impressive and user friendly it is, how it’s geared for learning, its tools and resources, etc.
You don’t have to finish the OEC either. The Affiliate Bootcamp mirrors the OEC in many ways, so you could move right into lesson 1 of the Affiliate Bootcamp right now if you chose to and start learning and building.
You have full freedom here at WA.
Hi Maricella,
Affiliate programs can't help you without traffic. At this level, you should be posting as much helpful keyword rich content to build trust and traffic. It's a ŵork in progress.
Actually, if you follow the training, Kyle will tell you when to start with affiliate programs.
Maxine
thanks for the info :) I was speaking of the WA affiliate program specifically. I should be able to promote it at any time, correct?
Yes, you can promote WA affiliate program anytime with you affiliate link found under the dollar sign icon.
This wasn't your original question though, Maricella.
Keep moving forward.
Maxine
It was my original question, but only in my head apparently!! Lol!! I didn’t word it properly….. thank you for the insight! I truly appreciate all the info i can get:)
You need content and traffic before you can apply for affiliate programs, as they would inspect your site for those elements prior to approval.
Thanks abie! I guess my question wasn’t clear lol. But i was asking specifically about the “wealthy affiliate” affiliate program, not any other programs as like you said i need content.
Yes, the answer is what you guessed. Anytime! You can add your WA affiliate link anytime on your blogs if that is what you want to share. You can add at the bottom of your post: Learn How I Blog, or Learn How to Build a Website like Mine with your WA affiliate link at the dollar sign icon on the right side of the home page.
thanks brenda!! I figured so :). For instance i can do a post on my IG about my experience and use the WA affiliate link, correct?
