Just ended course 2 of the Certification courses. So excited!

Hi there!

This will be my first blog post within WA. I have just finished the second course of the certification and the things that I have learned and accomplished are amazing.

I have wanted to create a blog for a very long time about gold investing. I have been reading about and investing in physical gold for a very long term myself and it's a very big passion of mine.

First I had no plans of making any money on my blog. I just wanted to create a blog and write a bunch of stuff. Then I stumbled upon Wealthy Affiliates.

It's the best thing that I have ever done to join WA where I have learned so much about SEO that I'm already seeing traffic on my site.

My goal for the next 3 months is to have 25 new blog posts from low hanging fruit keywords. And for the next 6 months I want to have at least 50 new posts.

I have understood that in the beginning it is just very important to build out quality content to get traffic. Once you have traffic you can start making money on your site.

One thing that I have learned is that you shouldn't think to much about the keywords. I know that I was over analyzing the keywords in the beginning to make sure that I got everything perfect.

Just find a low hanging fruit keyword (over 50 in traffic and under 100 in QSR) and do a small SERP analysis. This is where you check the first 10 results on google for you keyword.

Make sure that you are not competing with too many authority sites like amazon, wikipedia, youtube. Also make sure that there isn't to many eCommerce site in your SERP. And a good thing is if there isn't to many youtube videos.

Once you have this it is just to write some content that is engaging, easy to read and understand with a lot of pictures.

Affiliate marketing doesn't have to be rocket science in the beginning if you ask me. Just follow the course and keep writing as much content as you can. That's where the money will come from.

I'm super excited to go on to the third course and learn how to make money and create money pages.
