Hi there, on my site http://top5financialbooks.com/ i have several posts but i am unsure how i can get rid of the categories which i think are not necessary for me.
How do i get read of categories on my site?

Go to Posts, Categories. Find the category you don't want and click on the"Delete" option.
Note that you cannot delete a category that is in use, so you may need to re-categorise the post that is using
Thanks for the reply but am I able skip categorizing my posts? I do not want the categories to appear for all my posts and wonder if it's due to the theme I selected.
Once you build categories you can assign posts to them. All unassigned posts will by default be assigned to the uncategorized category. Once your website starts getting bigger it will start looking cluttered. if you use categories it will keep it a lot neater
