Google Indexing from 2 months to 36 hours!

I was getting so frustrating.

I had started my WA journey and written a dozen or so articles over my first two months here and I wasn't getting any traffic and none of my articles had been indexed. I had heard at first I could take a while, weeks or a month or so and afterwards newer articles would start to index faster.

But nothing after two months.

So I had heard that getting comments can help boost rankings and possibly help index faster so I ordered 20 comments, but still nothing.

Then I hearrd about the Webmaster (now Search Console) in Google. So I set it up and did the URL seraches on my articles, Google came back that they were not currently indexed but I could request them to be placed in the queue and they'd index them in order.

Then from that moments about 30-36 hours later I recieve notification from WA that all of my articles have been indexed! Crazy how quickly that can happen.

But it goes to show that sometimes you need to learn how to focus your efforts, similarly I think of the low-laying fruit we can grab. We could use all the popular and congested search requests but we won't get our message out it will be shown on the 100th page or so that no one is going to see. But if we make some tweaks and learn what we can do to get it to show up as top results then we can begin to see those visitors. And more visitors and comments make a more engaging business knowing that someone is listening and we want to continue to provide content to them.
