So to carry on the story of my mad year, I get the call I drop everything jump in the office managers car because (I have a company van). At this point all sorts are running through my mind. Who is there? How did it happen? Is everyone OK? How many kids are on board?

Its 8.45 am on a Friday and everyone is getting in my way! I'm trying not to speed but im desperate to get there as fast as I can then all of a sudden out of the blue im mad.I cant believe this has happened now just spent all the money we had on getting married how the hell am I going to get a new car? Stacie relies on car she is a childminder so sometimes she has six kids to collect and care for. Then I turned into the road where Stacie had crashed.........All the anger just dissipated instantly.

I saw her car...What a mess.My heart took another blow, It was Just unrecognizable from the car I left behind on the drive earlier that morning.

The scene was terrifying the road was cordoned off by two police cars lights flashing two ambulances each side of the road and no one to be seen. I chucked the car on the curb marched over to the officer on the scene, "Where is the woman from the red car? I demanded to know she is my wife!" The officer pointed over my shoulder. I turned quick and there she was safe, Crying in shock but safe. I ran over to console and cuddle her,

What a moment that was I somehow managed not to cry but held her so tight your safe now where are the kids? They were in the car with Stacie's friend who had come to our aid and they were both fine the eldest (Murphy 6)who was sat in the front had a bad bruise to his neck but other than that he was fine, The youngest (Monte 4) who was sat in the back had a small mark on his face but all in all everyone was safe.

Now my attention turned to the other driver who Stacie hit so I went to find her she was on the curb next to the cars she was fine as well just a bit stiff.

I could see the full extent of the collision and all I can say is that the lord was watching over my flock that day. Stacie's car had collided head on with a range rover as she turned right into a junction, The momentum of the heavy range had ripped the front of our car off just 2 foot from where Murphy and Stacie was sat.

Stacie and the other woman were put in neck braces and placed on spinal boards I gave her a kiss told her not to worry and tried to give her phone back buts he told me she didn't want it. I looked at the paramedic and explained that she must be hurt because she is always on that bloody thing!! Off they to the local hospital. Monte went with our friend and I took Murphy with me.
