How to get index by google? 10 Important things to take note.

I want to share my experience in getting my articles index by google.

I hope these tips are useful for you and please comment and share your thoughts.

Listed are the things to take note when writing your article

1. Affliate links

Avoid affiliate links in your articles. I have tested this theory and seems to be working.

Articles that have multiple affliate links tends not to be indexed as google is treats them as sales article.

I have removed all my affiliate links and one of article was index after several weeks whereas most of articles are index within one week.

Therefore please avoid affiliate links in your article. You should direct them to your product review articles instead.

Product review article should not have too many affliate links so as to increase your chances to get your article index.

2. Useful information

The article must be useful to the public and should not have a hidden agenda. Google wants to help the public with information they need. If the intent is to sell some product or services, unlikely the article will be index.

3. Comments on your articles

Get as many comments as possible. Google likes articles to have many engagements. Comments helps to increaae the score on engagement. You can get the community from Wealthy Affliate to help on this.

4. Check your grammer and spelling

Articles written with a poor standard in English will probably not be index by google. Always read your articles even after you perform spell and grammar check as this check may not be 100% accurate.

If possible, get another party to read first before publishing.

5. Enough word count

The recommended word count is 1000 words however I have article that has lesser than 500 words and it was index.

My suggestion is as listed.

i. Content - 1000 words

ii. Product review - 500 words or lesser

6. Too much video

If the article takes a long time to load, it will likely not be index by Google.

To test this, you can view your article after publishing.

7. Incorrect link or error while loading

Please test all your links before and after publishing. If there is an error with your links, than it may not be index.

8. Use cross link within articles

Do link your articles. The most common example is to link your content article to your product review article.

It is even better if you are able to inter link all your articles within your website.

9. Back links

If you are able to get different websites to link to your article, it will help the article to get index.

One back link is not really useful. There must be several back links for it to be effective.

10. Number of articles within a website

It is recommended to have at least 20 articles published in a website. I have witness the time for google to index articles reduced with the increase in the number of articles published. I have articles index within days after it was published.
