You can't stop procrastination
Procrastination: "the action of delaying or postponing something"
In this sense everything we do is procrastination, I'll postpone exercising while I'm writing my new blog. Both are important, and both get put off at some point. It's constructive procrastination.
The trick is to use procrastination to your advantage.
A simple process for me to remember:
1. Know your HEART goals
Healthy and holistic in nature
Enduring so they last
Alluring to make them attractive
Relevant to your project
Truthful to yourself
2. Break things into manageable chunks
- Set smaller tasks to create the bigger picture.
- It's not a to-do list, I'm creating an outcome
- It's a successful day if I work towards my outcomes
- I can remain flexible if the task is part of the outcome
3. Starting increases the chance of finishing
- You can never finish something if it doesn't get started in the first place.
- Motivation comes with the smaller gains, reaching the goal
4. Be kind to yourself
- Your most creative moments can come when doing something mindless.
- "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." {Thomas Edison}
5. Procrastinate on procrastination
- If you're putting off procrastination, you're effectively working.
- And yes I said it, start procrastinating....

Great blog Marath and by the way you just gave a lot of men a great excuse to give the wives when they want to sit and drink a beer LOL.
