The End of Another Month, the Goals of the Next

Another month has passed and with it I get to share my successes, my failures, and my goals for the next month.

I did really well as far as Wealthy Affiliate is concerned, but I did not complete my personal goals. It makes me a little disgruntled, but not overly so to have missed them. I admit that I would prefer my WA goals to be completed rather than my personal ones.

March Snapshot

Here is what I did in the month of March:

Completed 14 out of the 12 posts I wanted (Woohoo!)

Managed to request 2 comments on every single post I put out there, think. I may not have asked for comments on my About Me post. I definitely have them on all the others so I'm counting it as a win!

6 out of the 8 training replays I wanted. This is pretty good considering most of them are an hour and a half long.

I estimated that I have roughly 15 out of the 10-20 keywords I wanted to get ahead for next month.

I completed 9 out of the 8-10 lessons I wanted, which is amazing! It's not quite 3 a week, but I'm content with that and I work on my blog between lessons.

I did finish up most of my online shopping for the June trip to Mt. Rushmore, so only apparel, footwear, and protein bars left to get.

I signed up for like 5 social media platforms out of the 2 I had planned. Sticking with Instagram and Pinterest for the most part.

I have a clean inbox, apart from the 3 that have come in while I'm writing this.

  • I could just as easily pare it down and say that I don't want emails, however the green notification icon at the top of the toolbar here on WA does nothing for me.
  • I ignore it for the most part, so I prefer the emails to keep active on WA

I did not do any tatting, and that has been put on the back burner in favor of working on my blog. I will have to find a different Christmas gift for my grandmother this year. Maybe more perfume or soaps.

I also have not gone back to the ceramic studio. I get such anxiety in putting myself in new situations when people are watching that I literally become petrified at the thought, so that's probably not going to happen anytime soon.

I started a YouTube channel. It has 2 videos on it, both created with Lumen5.

April Goals

My goals are both the same and different from last month. I've added a few different things to get me out of my comfort zone, at least on the online world, where my anxiety is lessened behind at least a little anonymity.

  1. Post 12 blogs (This will most likely never change)
  2. Do somewhere between 6-12 lessons
    1. This is a large gap, I know, but I have a feeling as I go through the Bootcamp the tasks will get more lengthy, so I need to start having the time to space them out.
  3. Do 6 training replays
    1. Since I did 6 last month, that's the goal I'm sticking to.
  4. Become more familiar with Instagram and Pinterest.
    1. Shout out to the wonderful LynneHuy for showing me how to work Canva. My pics before were awful and now I know it!
  5. Find at least 10 keywords to round out the next month
  6. Be at least 2 weeks ahead in my posting schedule for my site
    1. This will come in handy in case of any extenuating circumstances or vacation trips.
  7. Buy a membership to the Fontonelle Forest and go walking there at least 4 times
  8. Lose 10 lbs.
    1. I need to lose the weight, so I might as well start now.

So, what awesome/challenging things did you do in March?

What is your plan in April?

Let me know down in the comments, okay?

Wishing you success and happiness on your journey.

Take care,

Michelle/Anne

Excellent goals and accomplishments! This is great motivation for the rest of us. Congrats!

Thank you for the support and encouragement!

What an accomplishment! It is almost 1:15 in the morning as I write this and feel a little overwhelmed by the challenge to state my achievements for March and my goals for April. I promise to do that in a post. But here’s a preview:

Finish Courses 2 and 3 of Certification
Finish Phases 1 and 2 of Bootcamp training
Write 6 Posts
Every evening listen to one of Bo’s training videos
Keep up with Jay’s training and listen to missed training

‘Tis time to show up and step up, whatever iit takes.

Thanks for the prodding.

Mojalefa.

Thank you for your comment and sharing your wins/goals. Those are amazing, by the way. I could never go through the training like some others do, but we each have our own speed at which we do things.

Good luck for April!

Take care.

Michelle.Wow.. I want you to write down my goals for me- this such a fine example of all the things I forget in making a clear view of my daily vision...lol
Honestly I can see how you might need a walk as there is such detail to your expectations. I sense a walk coming on after merely
reading last month's accomplishments...I'm staggered and proud by you all-at-once...respect, my friend.

Safe to say, I am glad I follow you...lead on

David

Thank you so much, David!

I like to keep myself accountable so I do a daily to-do list, a weekly recap, a monthly success/goals post, and a yearly blog posts and how many words I want to write.

I'm happy that I'm giving valuable information to the community, and I'm glad that I can share it with people like you.

Good luck, happy posting, and take care.

Nothing like a walk in the woods to get things rolling Michelle Anne!

Yes, Indeed. It gets the creativity flowing for sure! Thank you for the support.

Take care.

Looking Good Michelle/Anne

Wayne

Thank you Wayne. I'm looking forward to another productive month.
