I'm Back!

Bad news?

We all know that things happen for a reason. I relate this all back to Romans 8:28. But it has been since December 17 that I have written a Blog and I figured that the Best way to get back in the Saddle again was write a new one.

September 2018 I came on board WA. Went to work immediately. That came to a halt on October 10, at 1015, when hurricane Michael roared through Florida. Most of my story since then is in my 4 previous blogs which I will try not to get into.

I was in Panama City FL until Feb 6 and I left and headed back to North Little Rock AR, My home. I won't get into the details of my status at that time, because it is only a reminder of the Past, which I am putting behind me.

Arrived back in Little Rock Feb 7 with no place to go and called a long time friend and have been sleeping on his sofa. :) Been going to Panera Bread daily using the WiFi and finally getting something done. Things since then have gone up and down.

Knowing from the beginning that it may take months to get income coming in when I started, My first 6 months are almost up. hahaha So much for that.

For reasons that I was afraid or so hard-headed to accept, my health began going down. At the insistence of my friend, I made a doctor's appointment, first time since Jan 1999. All of these years I have had no health challenges except about 20 lbs overweight. No drugs, compared to 90% of my high school classmates. Going to the gym 4-5 days a week. I Felt great. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," was my motto.

Tues Mar 26 I went to the Doc. Briefly my breathing had become so laboured that I could not walk 15 feet without being totally exhausted. Going up stairs took forever. And these things had been building up over the last 6 months but I had not been paying attention.

I will not go into all the details but I will say that when I left his office I had been give one steroid shot, prescription for antibiotics and presc for an Inhaler and a decision to quit smoking. With a revisit in 2 weeks.

Now for the GOOD News

I have tagged a number of people in this Blog from WA that have become important to me since probably a month after the hurricane, so we will say the first of December. You have been my life line to WA through the email notifications I have been receiving. When I was first able to check my email after the hurricane. 2 1/2 weeks later, I had over 300 notifications from some of you and many others. It was through this that I started following people and gaining followers. It is what brought the attention to me that WA is one big Community.

Reading your notifications and blogs and interacting with you all over the last few months especially have helped keep my head above water. In fact, it was the end of Jan before I was able to really get back with the program while I was still in Panama City. , was able to get a stable internet connection back in Little Rock made it even better.

The Inspiration that I received especially from the many inspiring stories I read, brought me to not only the decision to go to the Doc, but on Sunday afternoon the decision that my inner body needed a rest and a cleansing and from experience I knew the best way to do that was to do a Total Fast. My past history on Fasting is several 5 and 10 day Fasts, a couple of 20 day Fasts and one 30 day Fast over the last 10 or 15 years. Always excellent results afterwards. This time I decided 40 days. Today will complete day 5 at 1500 pm. The first 48-60 hours is always the hardest. So I am past that plateau. I will keep everyone informed as to progress. BTW, my weight at the Docs office was 222. Keep that figure in mind. hahaha

The second thing was that Tuesday nite, after taking the antibiotics and using the inhaler 4 times during the day, I had the best nights sleep that I have experienced in many, many months.

I had been struggling to write content for several days on my Niche website to prevent getting canned again by Amazon, but nothing was forth coming. Tuesday afternoon was no better.

When I arose Wed morning the first thought after I got moving around was to Go Back to Basics. I decided to start all over and get back to content later. Before the hurricane I had completed 90% of Phase 1 and 40% of Phase 2 of BootCamp. I made the decision to go back, start again and Finish all 7 phases.

The first site I built was the Affiliate site but it didn't get too far before the storm or after I started my Niche site. With the knowledge I have gained over the last 4 months from all of you everything now seems simpler. I have flagged and saved Many of the emails because they were questions in my mind before I ever received them. And Yahweh was bringing these blessings to me through this time.

So today, I am officially Back. And that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

One Question

I have decided to rebuild my Affiliate site from the ground up. I only had 3 articles on it which I copied and saved in Site Content. And it is on my own domain.

My question is? Do I need to delete the entire old website before I even begin setting up the new one. I am trying to come up with a new name now which I need before I begin to build the site. I don't really want to set it up on rubix and then move it.

I don't like the ideas of the redirects and since I know how to get postings Indexed faster on Google now it would simpler.

You're back? That's unbelievable, after all that! You've got some stamina my friend, respect to that 🌴💦🙏

YOU CAN'T KEEP A GOOD MAN DOWN.

Good for you, what a great effort. Watch the drug intake, and you know this, they can do you more harm than good. I am coming up 66 and NEVER take as much as an aspirin; you, obviously, have been under a great deal of stress, which has contributed to your state of health. But it's just stuff, and if you can think yourself into a situation, then you can think yourself out of one.

Do the gym thing if you can, get fit, stay fit, eat well and most of all, stay calm. No point in worrying about what you can't change.

You are so right, if it aint broke don't fix it!

Regarding your website; I'd start all over again. Bin the lot! FRESH START.

Best of luck to you,
hope this helps.
L.

Thanks Lisa. Inspiring words.

Yes, I am very aware of what drugs can do. I learned this fact 6-8 years ago,,,The Greek word “pharmakia” literally means “drugs”, and appears five times in the New Testament: “Pharmakia” is translated into our English Bible as either “witchcraft” or “sorceries”. We also get our English word “pharmacy” from the Greek word “pharmakia”.

Yes, there has been a lot of stress since 2015, but I continue.

Been trying to come up with a title for 2 days and think I now have it.

Back to work. :P

Sonny

Good evening Sonny,

That is quite a story. Good to hear it is behind you now and you can have a fresh start.
I admire your fasting time, 40 days is not peanuts. Since beginning 1990 I have done 42 times 9 days but have never done it for more days.
I find fasting fantastic. All the energy which you do not need for the digestive process you have extra. I have done building jobs as I had so much energy. One sleeps so well not to mention the cinemascope multicolored dreams. It is like having 2 lives.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

120 hours have passed since I started Sunday. I will report again at 240 hours or more.
Yes, I can remember the amount of energy I had during the 30 day fast, totally exhilarating. And I was doing light physical work then too.

This time computer work, much easier. haha

Sonny

I hope you are not doing an exclusively water fast.
I do water, teas, juices, mainly vegetables, skin looks great.I do continue with some supplements.

Taetske

Specifically pure or filtered water. Hot herbal tea, sweetened with pure honey and an occasional coffee. no solid food whatsoever.

Sonny

That is it. Still, some freshly made vegetable juices do give you some extra pep.

I've only recently joined the WA community or rather I joined but was not active until recently so my apologies that I did not meet you sooner...
I, too, believe in the family spirit of this community. So many members are caring and supportive and often express their sincerity on the daily blog.
They also share their disappointments, trials and errors and we acknowledge them and move forward. Onward and upward!
I am grateful everyday that I can log on and see what everyone is up to, answer questions when I can, engage in conversation and get on with my day knowing that I will always have a second family to come home to...WA.
Congratulations on getting your health back and good luck on your fast :)

Best of luck on your journey to success!

Amazing Awesome Amy

Thank you for your kind words Amazing Awesome Amy :)

Sonny

I don't see the reason why should you start fresh? You do have a working website already, right? And because it is "old", you can only gain more trust from google with ranking. At least in my opinion...

Dalibor, I had not thought about that point of 'trust'. Your comment is one of the reasons I asked the question and you have given me something to think about. That is one of the reasons that I asked it to the WA Community.
However I am going to change my template for my site and I figured I may as well do it all at once.

Sonny

The template you can change of course. But it would be a smart choice to stay on your site. That is just my opinion, I am rather new, maybe others have a better view .)

Dalibor

I'm glad some of the WA community helped inspire you the truth is that your story with its quiet courage and tenacity is quite inspiring to rest of us. Glad hear you're concentrating on the positives. Keep it up.
