Need Motivation
I've always been one of these people that starts things, gets really into it for a few weeks, and then just gives up. If I'm not good at it right away, I feel like I shouldn't continue. Then, I get so down about the fact that I couldn't do it. I would really like that to change. Especially with my website here, I don't want that to happen. I've been on Wealthy Affiliate for about two weeks now, and I like where my website is at. However, this is normally when I would start giving up since I'm not seeing any results yet. I do not want to give up! Does anyone have any tips or motivation they can pass on? I really want this to work out. Help me please.

I have similar issues and i have given up on projects in the past. I would suggest more interaction with the WA community. Write your thoughts and feelings on a blog in your profile.
Don't you dare to give up. This stuff works, you just need to be patient. You are already one step ahead of the crowd by making the decision to join WA. Remember this is a marathon, not a sprint race, nor this is a get rich quick scheme. You will eventually get rich, but you will have a solid foundation.

You need to read some of the success stories of the more experienced members and get a taste of the kind of money that can be made doing what we do here.
Motivation comes in all kinds of forms and is different for each person.
Yes it can be struggle going through the grind everyday but once those results start pouring in you'll know that it was worth it.
Six months to a year from now your life could look exactly as it does right now, or you could put in the work and things could be radically different for you.
My motivation comes from the fact that I will NEVER go back to working a regular job again, I cannot stand being told what to do by people that are not qualified to be in managerial positions.
I cannot stand being told what days and hours I'm going to work, or being told when I can and when I cannot go on vacation.
That is motivation enough for me.
The one piece of advice I can give to both of you is to just keep pushing forward and learning a little bit each day. I remember how overwhelmed I felt at times when I first started and how frustrating it could be.
Its like learning a second language at time, but it does get so much easier as time goes on the more and more you do these things.
It is all second nature to me and I can dish out a 1500 word article day in and day out like it is nothing.

Manea9575, I have had that same issue for years and I'm still at the same place because I did not find my motivation.
Now, I am very new here as well and I was chugging along for a good three days, then I just got so flustered that I could not find my way. Wasted about 4 days time staring at these pages jut dumbfounded. This could be my health but not sure.
So, I decided to go back and regroup by re-reading and watching the videos in the training. I figured out where I had left off and pushed forward. I must say, that in my thoughts, I kept in mind the goals I am working towards. I can no longer allow my lack of motivation to get in the way of my Dreams.
Put your goals in front of you and read them everyday as much as you can. You will succeed if you train your mind to focus on whats ahead.

Hi Angelica. believe in yourself you can do this. What you have achieved in two weeks is pretty good. Let your online business replace the old. I also have a tendency of starting things and don't finish them up. With the WA community you will definately go very far.Human beings we are creative beings and as a result we make things happen. All your goals, you will achieve them so don't give up. Wish you all the succees you definately deserve.Hope this will be of help.

Seeing as you've only been with WA a couple weeks and are already ranked in the low thousands you seem to be doing something right. I would continue doing what you're doing and not give up :)

In addition to interacting with the community, you can go to You Tube or elsewhere on the web and listen to or watch motivational content. One of my faves is Les Brown. I also like the Rocky speech to his kid in the movie. I've never seen the movie, but I love that speech. Read your goals every day. Take action, Focus.
