I don't understand why you'd give them access to your site. Usually they tell you how to do it and you do it. Besides, you can always backup your site before anything. How to Back Up Your Wordpress Site - Using Tools Export
Im not sure either, majority of the other support forums for SKT just do it that way. But in my case they asked for admin details to be sent to support contact.
Say worst case happened and the deleted my admin account/ changed passwords, would restoring from a back up regain me access?

Thanks for the responses guys, next post will be one dedicated towards a product a review perhaps.
I will definitely look back to see if there is some I might be able to add to posts i have already published as well.

Personally I wouldn't wait. Insert them while writing your informative posts. Just don't insert too many and keep it natural.
I never inserted them after I've created a post to be honest!

I wouldn't wait. Keep churning out the posts and the reviews with affiliate links. That way you have more being crawled by the search engines sooner. As you say, it takes time to get established so I always get them live as soon as I can.
