THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving with family and friends. Get together and catch up on past events new births jobs and all the good things that happen in every bodys lives.

I can thank God for my good health, wife and family. I am retired today and I realloy never thought I would reach 66. But I have and here I am.

Changes. Talk about changes. What about asking your kids how many Phone Booths they have seen? Response will probably be---What is a phone booth? Computers. These things change more often than you change your underware. I had a big Chief tablet and a # 2 lead pencil when I was going to school. And if you worked your math problems out in your head to get the right answer I always got marked wrong. Why? Teacher wanted to see your work you were not alloyed to think for your self. Gee things have changed. Dicipline in schools. Worst thing could have happened. When they took dicipline out of schools. No control and the liberals have such a strangle hold on our school systems now they will never change.

Well I better get off my high horse. I am still thankfull for a lot of things. Still I think we have a partial free society even with a "BELOVED MUSLIM IN THE WHITE HOUSE" trying to change our Free Republic into a communist run government.

But turkey. Baked, broiled, BBQed, smoked and now whole fried turkey. WOW have they changed. 66 years of eating turkey and never even thought of frying a whole turkey. But the home made Southern corn bread dressing and giblet gravey has never changed around here. Tradition. No grapes and fruit in our dressing, just good old Southern corn bread. Never use stove top stuffing, just aint right! Gott-a- be home made like Grandma used to make.

Gotta go. Just wanted to say something about Thanksgiving.
