Looking for Answers and Found Wealthy Affiliate
So I am coming up to my 37th birthday on the weekend and I have been struggling with my current career as a home daycare mum for a while now...
I have a 15 month old daughter and I have a gorgeous 11 year old son and for 10 years this month this isolated job has been my life. It has been perfect for me and bringing up the kids while bringing in an income, however legislative changes has meant that what I used to find enjoyable and flexible has become somewhat of a burden.
I am always looking for a career I will LOVE, and I nearly cried recently thinking that I would have another 35 years of working in childcare, I love children, I love to teach them and I especially love my own children, but I think I have done my time in a hands on role and I am starting to feel like this career is doing myself and the kids more harm than good.
I stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate and thought it sounded interesting, so I jumped on board! I loved the whole concept and I don't mind paying for something where I get knowledge in return! I am still not sure on my niche (as I have about 100 ideas running through my mind) and am playing with a few website ideas at this stage, but I am enjoying using my brain and learning new things.
I feel hope for the first time in a long time and this has made me immeasurably happier. The universe truly seems to have plans for me that I haven't discovered yet and I look forward to finding out what that is :)

Anyway, I'm happy that you found WA. About your niche, you may want to pick the one that is closest to your heart, follow your heart. As I think I'll need a niche that I'm passionate about it to keep me motivated. Hope this helps.

The more you learn and the more you take action, the more you'll start to see the plan unfolding.
I read another article tonight reiterating some great advice and I'll sum it up here: Don't worry about the ending to your story because it's still being written. Focus on the next 15 minutes every time you start to get overwhelmed or don't know what to do next.
You can always come up with something helpful or useful for the next 15 minutes and by the end of the day you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish when you take on that mentality.

Hi Lyn,
I really loved reading this blog and I can certainly relate to what you were feeling at the time you wrote this. I'm sure with all of your knowledge in child care you would have some great tips in that field for your own niche.
